Holy Crap- So, I come home in 5 days. Anna and I are in Byron Bay...we went to Nimbin yesterday - just a little hippie town not far from here...it was cool, we went with a bunch of other backpackers. Hey everyone, I just got back from my 3 day camping trip to Uluru (Ayers Rock). It was pretty cool - the people on the trip were great. We are flying out to Adelaide today...drink some wine :) then head to Melbourne. Ill be seeing Harriett for those of you that remember her. Anna, Mom, Enid and I are in Cairns now. We got here last night. My wrist is feeling a lot better. We went to Fraser Island for two days 1 night, that was great. lake McKenzie was Awesome. Now, we are in Cairns...Anna and I are going on a scuba diving boat day cruise and skydiving. Should be lots of fun. The weather is really nice, hot, very hot. Its pretty expensive here, but after here I wont be spending too much money. Hope all is great there inCanada, and with everyone. Ill be home around July 25th. Hi everyone! hope the summer is going well....I've only got 3 more days left at ironbark :( I'm going to miss everyone soooooo much. Unfortunately.... Ibroke my right wrist on Tuesday...damn eh. So there are three small hairline breaks on the bone right near my thumb (ha its been a while since biology class). it hurts like hell, but it should be all better by the time i go home. So, im putting my last pictures up on my msn space...check them out. Mom and Enid came to visit me here... we are meeting up with them on Tuesday....then going to fraiser island. Only 2 weeks left of working here in Queensland. Anna and I can't wait to travel. We have figured out everything :) It'll be really great. Here's a rough list of where we are going to travel to: - Fraiser Island for a 2 day 1 night camping excursion - Fly to Cairns to see the great barrier reef...go scuba diving, skydiving :) and other fun stuff - Fly to Alice Springs (the middle of the desert) and go on a 4 day, 3 night camping trip in Uluru around Ayres Rock with a bunch of other young backpackers :)...that should be really awesome, camping in the outback..fun times :) - Fly to Adelade (south) and drink some wine....supposed to be great there. - Fly to Melbourne and visit Harriet...my roommate from the first half ... read more

Just a quick hello to everyone again.... Sooo, Anna and I made some sweet 3D glasses last night - because Medium the show was in 3D and we didnt want to pay for glasses...and we have no social lives haha. Hellooooo!!!!!! Im glad people are starting to get their postcards finally! Emma - I sent yours like about 2 months ago! haha...damn ocean it has to cross. Anywho! Things are great - mainly because we get to travel in about 4 Weeks!!!! IM SO EXCITED. Plus - I went shopping in Toowoomba today with Bill (man i work with) and I got some Ugg boots...not real real ones, but Australian made, kinda high quality, look a like uggs which Im happy with. Now, i know what you all are thinking " why in the world do aussies need boots?? its hot there!" and, yes, it is pretty hot here - although im finding it cold at 20oc cause im used to hot weather now...but! they dont have central heating, and itgets down to -1oc at night, ... read more

Things here have been....alright. I like the kids a lot - and the staff....having some issues with , anna...the roomie...but there is only 5 weeks to go before I am travelling. Time has flown by...it has gone by faster than I thought. Today I did the 'Flying Fox'...which is the Zip Line. OMG...if you know me, you know that I'm really scared of hights. This Zip Line is over the Aussie bush...and to get started you have to walk or run down this ramp until you fall. I ran really fast, then lifted my feet up so I was upside down.
