Hi everyone! I hope and wish everyone well I miss you guys lots! I've been doing really well but have lacked all focus in writing on here. I'm still in Rishikesh and will be still till the middle of June I think.....after I think I'm coming home!!! I'm going to come home for about 4-6 weeks and then come back and study more. I've been studying yoga and astrology now for about a month and love it. I want to come home and see everyone because I miss everyone and then after I want to come back and take some intensive yoga and yoga therapy courses. I have really really enjoyed everything I'm doing here and feel really great. I'd love to eventually open something on my own from all the things I learn here....so that ... read more

Hey Jen you have to take hot water only with honey FIRST thing in the morning. After you can continue on with your day with tea and breakfast. It doesn't replace a meal but allow some time between your honey water and breakfast and tea. As for your other questions I'll ask the doctor tomorrow. ;) Tonight I have an appointment with an astrologer that's recommended by many people in town. Supposedly he has a really good reputation comes from a long line of astrologers in his family. Did you know that you can major in astrology here in college?? Also palmisty, chakras, etc....Neat huh! Hey you guys!! (have to say like sloth from Goonies :) ) So I am feeling so much better!!! It's taken awhile and I've been in the dumps but now I am feeling soooo much better and have a really new outlook on Ayurvedic Medicine. I decided to go to an ayurvedic doctor here after I didn't start feeling better. I was really tired, sluggish, and not eating at all. And if you know me....welllll I like to eat. :) So I've started something called panchakarma. I am doing a month long detox that consists of a variety of things but it completely flushes your system of all impurities. So I just went thru the worst twenty four hours ever.... I've been getting sick on and off for the last month now three times total where I thought I just ate something bad and would have about 24 hours where I couldn't eat and would have vomiting or diarrhea or if real lucky both... So the other day I felt another bout of this coming on and so I just stopped eating and just drank fluids to make it easier on myself if I ended up vomiting....so now that I've prepared myself it ends up soooooo much worse. Around seven pm I start feeling really sick worse then before and start getting really cold. So Darcie was asking about the women here. For the most part I get a very warm response from them which is met with much curiousity. They are really really cute. I suppose they are as much curious to know about my life, my values, my ideas, as I am theres. I find the girls that look at me and laugh or start giggling....immature it's really silly and I know it's because I just look so different to them in every way. I dress different, look different, speak different and probably am the tallest women they've ever seen. What's that word they called in highschool Yani.....Amazon?? ha! Oh wow everyone!!!! Today I arrived to Rishikesh! It's breathtaking! I thought that Hardiwar was great but this place is sweeeeetttt! I think I'm right at the base of the Himalayas!! My place is a little ways from the town up in the hills and it's surrounded by little bungalos that you really have to try and find....but once you find it it's totally worth it! The town looks like its in a valley between mountains. The ganges comes down from the Himalayas here and then continues down to Hardiwar. When I got here today I thru my bag down and set off...I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was outside. There is such a drastic difference in the geography in India. I am in Haridwar. It's a beautiful city. I think it's the first place I've been to where I don't get too hassled. I checked into a place with bamboo huts right along the ganges. It's awesome. It's about three times as much as I've been paying but I've really enjoyed it. It's right on the water. It's surrounded by a beautiful garden and my little home. I've realized how much I've missed greenery. Is that how you say that? Rajasthan is so desert like compared to here. The vegetation is lush and it doesn't feel like every single building, shrubbery, and animal is dying from thirst. Haridwar is where indians come to make puja and offering. Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on here! It's been harder to get to an internet connection because Nawalgarh is a small town and I've been their the last several days. I am headed to Hardiwar though the day after tomorrow via Delhi which I'm taking a bus with a lady I met!! Yay! I'm so happy I met another woman she's great! In her late fifties...also a libra! yay! and traveling solo. She's from New Zealand. We part ways in Delhi bc she's headed to Kerala. Hardiwar is where all the ashrams stays are.....yes Jen this is where I go to the quiet place! So I miss EVERYONE! I got really homesick the other day for the first time.
