A Dance Party
What an interesting idea and looks like it was well received. Thanks for sharing.

Roving dance party

Definitely a fun night
It was every bit as fun as it looks. Pity they've never returned to Boston.

Dancing in the Streets
What a great idea, Ezra. Was it embraced in other USA cities in addition to Boston. Great photo that embraces the vibe. Glad you added a video as it helps the reader know what you are excited about.

They had a whole tour
Tom and Gary have continued their parties for years, so they must get descent turnout This was the only time they've been to Boston, though. Glad you liked the photo. The lighting from below led to some great shots for the fountain dance.

Planning and organizational skills needed
Amazed and ....... not sure what the words are.

Burning Man planning
That was a tough day, and an essential one. I've read plenty of blogs about how people went to /Burning Man and had their mind blown, expanded their personal boundaries, and/or found spiritual truth. I found very little on what it takes to get there. I wrote this one to help cover that gap. Thanks for commenting on it :)

Self Reliance
I can't imagine what this would be like. Amazing. Yes, you would grow to trust yourself. Well done.

Self-reliance
Thanks for the comments. That build was a great deal of work, but worth it. I consider the self-reliance a integral part of the Burning Man experience, and deliberately camped by myself to test whether I could handle it.

USS Constitution and USCGS Eagle

4th of July
Nothing like tall ships to bring back the history of these celebrations. On Australia's Bicentennial Celebrations tall ships from all over the World sailed into Sydney Harbour to remind us of the 11 tall ships that sailed into Sydney Harbour on 26th of January 1978 loaded with British convicts to set up the first colony in the southern land. Tall ships thus bring memories to so many people no matter where they are seen. Great pic Ezra..

Embracing birthdays
Great story of of a fantastic birthday bash. Nothing better than an airshow and fireworks...oh and the pops. Marvelous.

Fireworks
Thanks for the comments. 2012 was a very special Harborfest. Five years later, I still feel the absence of my group no longer going due to the tight security.

Boston's Best
Music, music, music....this is just up our alley. What an amazing venue. As always a well written blog full of information.

Boston Pops
Thanks for the comments! That year was quite good music wise. CBS brought in great artists. I really hated what it took to get in, though.

It is a great venue. Finding good sight lines (for reasons mentioned in the blog) was a real hassle that year, though.
