the final chapter hi there. hope you're doing well after your long trip. don't put off writing that final journal entery for too long, you you may never get around to writing it (i've done that before). hope to hear about your trip to chile.....
Horses Looks like the horseback trip was pretty amazing. Go Molly! Well, I guess your trip is coming to an end. I can't wait to see ya'll over Thanksgiving. It will be here before you know it.
! ya'll look like professional jockeys in your horse hats! ha ha!! moll, i'm glad you didn't fall off the jagged edge of the mountain! i think i would've been really scared to ride a horse near that... soooo, where to next?
Great photos Great blog. I'm really serious about going to Argentina. I'm tired of museums and want to be in the great outdoors. Also, good food and wine and cheap prices are a definite PLUS! Wish we were with you. Moll, hope you feel better soon!
Love, mom
COLD You two don't miss a day of blogging do you? Ya'll look pretty chilly in those photos, but I am sure it was worth it....And with all the mountain scaling you are doing, you're burning enough calories to eat all that good food over there...YUM!
Torrentes So you've found a new wine?!! I'll be lucky if Jax has that, so you'll just have to take some of those bottles of Mumms out of the suitcase and put a few of the Torrentes in!
Now you can't go and get sick just when you're headed into the wine country. You probably got a little too close to those falls! Get some rest on the bus (sounds like fun) so you can savor the bouquets!
DAD
Nasty Finger Hey--Those pictures of the falls at night are amazing. H- you are a great photographer. I have to say, I am a bit jealous you captured those falls, as I am thinking what great artwork you will have in your apartment (or house one day:)..... You should have them blown up and framed..HINT HINT--a great Christmas present for your old sister and your parents, H:)
Ok-whose nasty finger is that? -someone needs a shower ASAP.
Thanks for sharing. I am having so much fun keeping up with your travels through this blog. I just wish I were there with you, instead, I am trapped in the ATL until Thanksgiving.
Check Out You all have to check out Puerto Madero by day(around noon is good) then at night! It is beautiful and there are many places to eat and a nice stroll along the water is nice too! Hope you enjoy! I've been there 3 times and have reservations for a 4th!!!
howdy molly and harold - these pictures are amazing! as i'm cooped up in my ny apt staring at a brick wall, i am living vicariously through your adventure. i can't imagine seeing the falls at moonlight...keep up the good work. the blog is great. and molly, go wash that dirty finger!
the franimal! oh my! i never dreamed that the fran would make it all the way down to argentina! i'm just glad he learned how to tango... what a cool cat :) he he. so, your pics are amazing! did you ride down the falls in a bucket? those definitely put niagra to shame... i really can't believe those pictures you got at night! so cool!
Romuleus and Remus What is the statue of the wolf suckling Romuleus and Remus doing in Argentina? That belongs in Roma. We can't wait to plan a trip. We all ready have a bad case of Wanderlust ...both of my p's had it too. You're just making it worse! We're glad you're documenting this so well and seeing so much! xxxoooxxxooo
Converse high tops! Sorry that we are so late in responding to your incredible travel blog. Mom and I are a little lacking in computer skills but we are getting there. Ya'll are having a wonderful experience and we are so glad that you are sharing it with us and all of your friends. Quite honestly, Mom and I are ready to plan a trip to South America. Tell me about the high top Converses. Th last time that I wore them was in 1965. I was a kool dude then! You really need more cats. Why don't you send home a container full. Have fun!!!
I love Argentina! Molly and Harold,
I love Argentina! I want to go there! Cheap wine, fantastic scenery, great food, dancing in the streets---how much better could it get?? Do they serve iced tea there? By the way, whose dirty finger was that with the big ant? YUCK!
Love and smacks,
Mom (Dad, too!)
packs o' cats sounds like you guys are having a blast, we are jealous!
if you all can smuggle some stray argentinian cats back with you as a gift for me i'd be indebted forever - you know i love a good cat, a stray foreign one at that :)
Malbec et.al. Wow! Mumms at $4 a glass. Drink some for me! Better yet - stuff your suitcase full and bring it back. Sounds like you're really making tracks. I think I might settle for drinking Malbec in the park all day!
Argentine Men Welll, that is very interesting how the men over there wear sweaters around their neck....maybe I will start that trend here in the good ol' U.S. of A....Why don't people wear sunglasses?
Fun Hey, Sounds like ya'll are having a blast. I tried to post a comment the other day and it did not work, so maybe this will. I am impressed with the blogging- I would not know where to begin. Sounds like you have having a blast. Did you do anything to celebrate Halloween?
Can't wait to see you over Thanksgiving and see all your pictures from the trip.
Safe travels, Bib
Tu-tu Tango! It's great seeing those strangers on the street doing the Tango, but I wanna see you and Harry doing the TANGO!!!...come-on guys...show us what you've got!
Glad y'all are having such a great time - keep it up with the steaks and malbec!
