Hello everyone, welcome to Lisa and Martyn's last ever blog.................... Well we arrived in Hanoi after a very uncomfortable 20 hour ( meant to be 17!) bus ride all the way up from Hoi An. Got a hotel sorted in the Old Quarter, which is crazy its small and cramped and so so busy with motor bikes, cyclos and all the wee old ladies selling their chicken heads etc on the street - its great if a bit smelly! Hey Everyone Well we arrived in Nha Trang on wednesday night and got booked into a nice hotel with free internet!! Its like being back in South America its great. Anyway the sun was playing my game yesterday and we spent the wholke day at the beach, it was wonderful! Hello Guys Well we had a lovely couple of days in Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh City - its official name but nobody actually seems to pay any attention to it and still refer to it as Saigon) Its a very very busy bustling city with crazy motor cycle drivers the horns blaring are driving me crazy! So we set off for Cu Chi tunnels on sunday these were the underground network of tunnels used by the Viet Cong in the Vietnam war in the 60's. Hello Everyone Well we had a lovely 2 days in Phnom Penh, Cambodias capitial city. Martyn took quite a shine to both the local beers Angkor and Anchor smooth and as we only had 2 days left in Cambodia he felt the need to drink the place dry, not that I was complaining of course. In amongst all this drinking we seen some heartbreaking sights at Tuol Sleng (S21 Prison) and Choung Ek (The Killing Fields). Hey Everyone. Well well where do I start, we left Bangkok on sunday morning at 8am ready to make out for Siem Reap in Cambodia. The journey was hell, if anyone has ever done this they will know what I mean! The bus to the Thai border had no air conditioning and the windows couldnt open - it was 40 deg outside are they crazy! Hello everyone, Well we made it to Ko Phangan after a very wet exit from Ko Tao across a very choppy sea which was not helped with the changover from the tattoo night! Needless to say I spent the whole journey with my head over the railings! Hello Everyone Well there is not much to say, we arrived in Koh Tao 5 days ago and the weather has been awful! Although I have managed to get a burnt nose! We have done not much here just slept, ate,drank, swam and played games in the pool! Hello Everyone. We after a lovely night in Krabi eating yummy Pad Thai for 20p at the night markets at the pier we left for Ko Samui at 8am the next day. We had bought joint bus and ferry tickets from our hotel and we were looking forward to a stress free journey.......as if!! Hello everyone. Well we left Ko Phi Phi on sunday headed for Railay which is on the mainland but the only access is via long tail boat from Krabi, Ao Nang or a mixture of normal boat and long tail from Ko Phi Phi. So the long tail boat man comes out and meets you 5 mins from and shore and you get transported on that then he just suddenly stops a good few hundred metres from shore and out you hop to wade to shore with water up to your thighs trying to balance your rucksack it was hilarious needless [View Full Entry]

Hello Everyone Well it seems like ages since the last blog, only a little over a week really but we seem to have done so much and Australia seems so long ago!
