Night out in the Sailing Club
Hey Everyone

Well we arrived in Nha Trang on wednesday night and got booked into a nice hotel with free internet!! Its like being back in South America its great. Anyway the sun was playing my game yesterday and we spent the wholke day at the beach, it was wonderful! Then that night we decided we needed a night out so off we went to The Sailing Club down at the beach and had far too many cocktails and jars of vodkas and red bull which resulted in Martn taking to the dancefloor a very amusing night out and I believe it was 5pm till Martyn got up the next day! The sun was kinda out so I ventured to the roof top to lie never quite made it to the beach. The rest of our time in Nha Trang was spent at the beach and had some nice weather with a bit of rain. Oh and we went parasailing, was so much fun glad Martyn bullied me into it! Although the bit when we came back down wasnt so much fun as we had to land in the water due to us being "heavy"!! I was most upset about

Oh those jars of vodka red bull.....
this but I'm blaming Martyn!! Was really good and probably as cheap as we will ever get it. Had a great time in Nha Trang especially as it is really our last beach of the trip as its cities all the way home now....... Oh congratulations to Martyn's friend Ian and Lisa who hada baby boy called Josh cant wait to see him!

We got the night bus up to Hoi An on saturday night and arrived nice and fresh after 12 hours on the sleeping bus.....well thats not true it was awful and poor Martyn had the worst seat on the bus and couldnt stretch his legs at all, it was terrible, so needless to say we are reverting back to a normal sitting bus when we go to Hanoi later today!!

Hoi An is gorgeous, a nice small town with a lovely river running through it and its very quaint. There are lots of old building etc to se but I really wanted to see the Japenese Covered Bridge. It has become Hoi An's emblem. Legend has it that it was erected after Japan had a series of violent earthquakes which was attributed to a restless monster lying with its head in India, tail in Japan and heart in Hoi An. The only rememedy was to build a bridge with stone to drive a metaphorical sword through its heart and it just happened to build a handy wee bridge at the same time. I thought this story was lovely.

It is also very very hot and with no breeze its torture! Lots of lovely shops aswell so we have really just being cruising about them and I have been drinking far too much vietnemse coffee which is strong coffee with a big dollop of condensed milk in it so yummy but I fear I should stop drinking it before I put on a stone with it!! So had a quiet time here, only really stopped to break up the journey to Hanoi but really glad we did.

Anyway we are off on a 17hour bus ride to the capitial Hanoi this afteroon, dreading it but it will be the last bus ride of the trip!! In Hanoi for 5 nights with 2 of those in Halong Bay hopefully, then we fly back to Bangkok on the 12th ready to fly home...........

Lots of Love xxxxx
