After a late-ish night last night, I slept until 9:00am this morning. It was weird going to sleep last night because of all of the strange bird noises that I’m not used to hearing so close! But eventually, I went over. I did wake up at about 3:30 as I was so cold and it’s A/C on, so I turned it off, and took the opportunity to go to the loo, seeing that I’m up already! I soon fell back to sleep though! I went to the shower block, got shifted, dressed , and went off for my breakfast. The rest of the group were already there when I arrived. Today’s task is to go shopping for things that I didn’t deem as important enough to bring. We had discussions at the meal last night that have highlighted some items that I will need! I have never work a hat, I need one! I brought a reusable coffee cup, not a reusable water bottle, I need one. I have been drinking Pocari Sweat, haven’t found it here, I need hydrolyte tablets. I should have brought an overnight bag for the island visits, I haven’t brought one. I thought a day bag was a handbag for the day, ie, my Dr Martin backpack… no… not the same thing! I got to the airport in Denpasar at around seven ish.. I think. It certainly seems like a long time again! The waiting time at the airport was really frustrating as they changed the gate number a couple of times… and they weren’t near by! But when that stuff happens to a group of people, it’s just not as bad as when it happens to you on your own. Passengers of many nationalities were conversing for the same cause…. Being in the right place, at the right time, to get where they need to be. Finally, we did get boarded. I think that the flight was about a six hour flight, but the time zone also moved forward.. again. So we add a further 3 hours on, so I actually landed at about 07:40 in Sydney. ... read more

I am quite happy with myself this morning! I slept really well last night, and woke up at about 9am, not my own accord though; I set my alarm! I think that I probably would have naturally slept on! It’s crazy how much I am sleeping whilst I’ve been in Seminyak! But to honest…. It is a total beach, shopping, eating and drinking tourist resort, so I’ve realised, that’s ok, I’m not missing out on anything! I had a good look on the internet for things to see here, but they just don’t appeal to me. A lot of the stuff is up in Ubud, where I’ve just for from. Another restful night! Although, I had lots of issues with both Facebook and Instagram. I actually thought that I’d been hacked, after lots of hassle trying to log in, change passwords etc….. I gave up, and deleted it all! I sent a message through WhatsApp, asking my family what had happened, and to put a message on for me explaining….. Ella responded back,.. Mum, Facebook is down! Grrrrr.. now I have none of them, and I have no idea what the passwords are because I don’t know at which point, or what my 20th attempt as password changes I had got to.
