Where have I been this whole time? Well, I got caught up on the reading tonight and I'm soo glad I did! It's a sweat box here in Edmonton, but lets hope it's not freezing when you two come back!
Love the entries!
Hilarious Perry ahhhh...I loved the pics and commentary butpossibly the funiest was hearing perry's comments....man I forgot that I missed that dry sarcasm....like kids at feeding time...so funny...miss you guys cant wait to see you next month, enjoy the last bit of it :-) XOXO Jac
The memory of Green Monster. ^^
This is the first time to add a comment here on your Blog.
I was really happy to be with you to Gangchon.
And your memory of SOJU reminds me of my first impression of soju.
Pain, not Payne... Colin, I know I haven't sent any parcels but would you like me to send a shotgun so you can relieve your pain? I got depressed reading it...
Hehe I enjoyed our convo too....felt like no time had passed, I was trying to keep it real, since when you're away you feel like everything and everyone is peachy keen at home.....
Are you ready? So, KP, you've been doing it Asian style for six months and now you're going to have to switch gears and get in the Middle East mindset. Are you ready?
You might want to check out the list I posted on my blog--it will give you a great crash course--Kleenex instead of napkins; camels and goats aplenty; drivers crazier than my 16-year old self; and sand in every crevice of your body--fun, fun!
Dance Routine Who knew that several years of practicing dance routines would actually be applicable in your work? Do you have that on your resume?
Now, how were the cosutmes made? They were awesome. Reminds me of my first figure skating year end when I was 5 and we did the bird dance on ine - but I can guarantee our costumes or organization did not compare!
Good work!
Korea to Arabia Well, those kids are pretty cute, but I'm sure you'll be fine leaving the non-English speaking Korean kids and trading them in for non-English speaking Arab kids, as well as trading in hosting a Christine L. for being hosted by another Christine L.! YAY!
Hiking Nice story, had to laugh when you talked about the hiking. So true, I have been living here for over 1 year and I always get a laugh when I'm hiking.
What Song??? I'm really wondering what song you guys are singing??? Is it summer lovin? Dolly and Kenny? Sonny and Cher? Tim and Faith? The suspense is killing me WHAT SONG WAS IT ???
Hey, I'm reading your blog backwards. After reading about the spa, I just want to reiterate something to you Colin...metrosexual! Kristy, why not naked with the rest of them? I'm with you, suim suit all the way!
too good to be true! Holy cow, you guys! I can't believe how great your holiday looked. I so want to go to Thailand now! You both look great. From the foot photo, Colin you should have had that pedicure...really they're great and you could then be a true metrosexual. You know you want to call yourself that, why not enjoy it. Did you at least get a massage? Kristy, why didn't you get more luxuries like those? It sounds like the price was right. Good to see and hear from you guys. See ya!
Happy New Year! This trip looks truly amazing and I can't believe how buff you both look. Looks like the weather and temp agreed with you both. Kristi, imagine how dark you would be if you'd stayed longer.
Thinking of you Just a quick note to let you know we have been thinking of you. Philip (my son in Taiwan) phoned a couple of days ago and said he was homesick over the Xmas season, for the first time in 5 years. I just got back from the Dominican and had a fabulous time. Your blog is great so I forwarded the address to a few people - hope you don't mine. Looks like you're having a fun and interesting time. A
Merry Christmas BABY!!! I finally took the time to read through your postings, talk about amazing. You guys seem to be having a blast out there, although I think colin needs to start giving into the KFC urges before he wastes away to nothingness. Shelagh and I are jealous as hell, I mean you guys even have more snow than we do here.
Enjoy your summer break, and can't wait to read more.
Later dudes
Hardcore and softcore(shelagh)
Yahooooo Hey Guys,
Great Pics. I hate to say this, but between the choir, the snow, and the buffets.......it looks like Christmas over there. Call me crazy, but it looks really nice. The Korean food loks awesome. Santa, are you scowling? I have to agree with Danny, you're looking awefully skinny amongst the Kimchee. Have an awsome time in Thailand. Can't wait to hear about it.
Love,
Annette
Thanks for the gift Hot date at the bath house 10 won.
Tickets to the nutcracker 45 won.
Seeing Colin dress up as Santa for Korean children ... Priceless. Thanks for the gift of laughter. Enjoy your holiday!
