Hooray for Vietnam.

Colin writing again (sorry kristy fans.....she's always busy reading emails....apparenly i'm not as popular at home)
We feel bad that we have not been updating the blog with our adventures from the last 2 weeks here in Vietnam, but finding internet cafes that are not sweat boxes with really slow connections has been a challenge. Presently we are in the outdoors, and its 10pm, so cooling off abit, so i can stand to write a few quick words.
Sorry, no pics for now, too much work. Hopefully soon.

After leaving Hanoi (in the North) we took a bus to Hue. It was one of those adventures that my writing is not worthy to cover. We'll have a good story for when we get home. But...the not so quick of it....13 hours....7pm start.....broken air con.....tiny seats......people sleeping in the aisles=no footroom.......only 5 or so foreingers....no lights=no reading.....3 middle of the night pitstops where the bathrooms made Kristy gag (easy for me....pissing on a wall along with the other 'gentlemen' while the girls watched us from their lineup to the non-flushing sewer rooms....seats that wailed an unearthly squeak with every bump, (and there were alot)......and of course the honking of our bus driver, at least every 20 seconds, panic inducing alarms to ensure that you cannot sleep. We had to just laugh at the whole situation, however, our day in Hue was a bit of a sleepy blur.
Best part of the ride was meeting a scottish couple who we ended up spending dinner and beers with that night.
Next day, another bus ride to Hoi An. This time the ride was an easy 4 hour trip.
We adored Hoi An, and the people we met there...so stayed 5 days. That'll be another nights worth of blog writing.

Where have I been this whole time?
Well, I got caught up on the reading tonight and I'm soo glad I did! It's a sweat box here in Edmonton, but lets hope it's not freezing when you two come back! Love the entries!
