Down Under! I am envious that you guys are enjoying Australia so much right now. Wish I could return to Perth & Fremantle with you. I read about the fires and hope there is not too much damage. Typical Australian summer experience.
Sydney You probably know this but the Kauffman Performing Arts Center in KC had the same architect as the Sydney Opera House. I had never seen a picture of the Opera House but it strongly resembles the structure in KC. Of course, the KC building is inland and it looks like the Opera House is right on the water. Very magnificent.
Austrailia We have always wanted to go to Australia and New Zealand, and hopefully will in the next couple of years. Having Hip Replacement surgery next week so this year is out but hope to be at warp speed here soon and returning to sailing. Thanks for the wonderful history lesson and beautiful photos. Smooth Sailing.
Missing Australia Your stories about Australia reminded us how much we enjoyed our past visits. We especially liked Adelaide so are looking forward to your next blog.
We must have followed you closely into Tonga as we were diverted from our scheduled stops in Samoa because of a cyclone. It was a lovely substitute with a sunny day to hire a taxi for a trip around the island. Tonga was special and it also kept us away from 70 knot winds and very high seas. (Think the Bass Strait on Voyager.) XO ML
Traveling with Kevin and Susan These are the greatest hosts on the Seven Seas. add in Cruise Specialists and you've got a one....two punch that can't be beat! Find Them!
Tonga---- Isn't Tonga where the prince is buried with the jug on the top of his moseleum? I remember some story about it as a fitting tribute to his heavy drinking.
Thanks for the updates. I enjoyed Tonga in the several times we were there

rain tree Beautiful islands with mostly unfamiliar names. We are in Palm Springs area until tomorrow. It's the desert and raining and low 60's. It's mid 60's and sunny in KC. Go figure. Had a fun 4 days following the golfers on the Humana Golf Tournament. Followed Phil Mickelson several holes and saw him make 3 birdies. Saw Bill Clinton whose foundation was a major sponsor. We had a good trip and Anne & Doug's home is lovely
Bye. Sandy
One Day Sitting here on our boat, reading your recap of 2014 and gazing at the stars projected by the clever art given to us by our Mana neighbors, I'm wondering aloud, "When do we get to be Kevin and Susan?"
Wow! This is a STUNNING picture. Did you take it? From where?
Also, did you snorkel at the Maitai Resort in Bora Bora? How much is the bus? Do they take dollars?
Maitai Resort Yes, we snorkeled here. No charge and nice beaches. Pretty good restaurant. $5 each way on the minibus. Bloody Mary's was closed on Sunday.
wHAT FUN As always, love your blogs. and looks like you are all having a great time---one of these days, I'll break loose of Regents 'golden handcuffs, and join the fun on SilverSeas---

On board Crystal Serenity We are among the 608 doing the whole cruise. We came aboard today (Jan 14th) only rounders for the gala event. 25th anniversary of Crystal. So far it is fabulous. We leave Miami tomorrow at 8:00PM
Happy new year. We really miss cruising with you (we had some great times). We have not cruised lately because Hank had a total knee replacement, and recovery is a bear. Your present cruise sounds wonderful. We love your blogs, please keep in touch.
Love Hank and Sandra
Best Cruise Directors Kevin and Susan are truly the BEST Cruise Directors navigating the seven seas! If you're going there (wherever there is) ...they've been there many times before and they know all the greatest places to see, eat, swim and play. Find a way to make them your cruise directors. They will far exceed your expectations!
we are still. Glad you are still traveling and enjoying it. We did a 12 day trip around the British Isle last August and were exhausted for three weeks upon our return. Going to try again the August with a river Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel and then do scenic trains for 9 days. I think that will be the end of our travel days Joe is 88 and me 80 and Miami looks so good.
Our best to you both and happy sailing. Our best, JOe and Tony
World Cruise I have decided that if I ever win a Powerball, I am just going to cruise all year long with you two. You make everything sound so interesting and the history you know is remarkable. Thanks for sharing. Lynda
