Good Morning, How good to see another blog at sea from you two again. I'm envious as always! Just now getting info on the inaugural of the new Regent in 2016.
Would really like to do that!? Laurie Macewan is sailing now from Africa to Singapore. My next trip is March 1 on the Oasis for a wk's bridge cruise
from Ft. Lauderdale. Are there a lot of repeat cruisers from your last trip?
Just got caught up w/ Annette and Doug at the Monterey Bridge Regional--fun to see them as always. Have a grand voyage!
WOW! Hey Susan & Kevin! What a wonderful 2014 you had, & it sounds like 2015 is going to be just as special. We are going to Munich & Berlin April 22 - May 5 to celebrate Bobby's 70th! Most fondly, Mary Ann & Bobby
A Happy New Year Thank you for your lovely blog again. We are admire your continuous adventures in the sea and on the road around the world. It is very hard to think about for Japanese 8500 miles road trip around the USA. Please continue the exiting another exciting adventure with a beautiful ship "Silver Whisper", Bonvoyage! Masa and Miyoko
WELCOME BACK Kevin and Susan, It is great to hear from you again. It had been such a long time that I was worried one of you was ill. No cruises planned this year, but one never knows if something interesting pops up we could be on it. I envy you your globe trotting/sailing. I thought you lived on a house boat in California when not sailing. I love that you still have family reunions and envy you that. I'm so impressed that you make life-long friends of those you meet and greet onboard. That says a lot about your personalities.
Keep me updated on your stops and adventures and hopefully in the near future we will meet up again. Fondly, Rich and Lynda Thorpe
Bon Voyage Good to see a photo of Hilda and Jarmo. Have a great WC on the Silver Whisper. Look forward to following you and your adventures. Best, Larry
Mary, you're looking good! Larry and I have sailed with Mary and Vic several times beginning around 2002 and enjoying many dinners together, trivia games and shopping trips ashore where they helped us figure out the local currency and endeared themselves to us in many ways. Stay well, dear friends!
Hello Hi Susan and Kevin, You have had quite a year and we enjoyed reading about your travels around the USA! Have a WONDERFUL WC and please tell our friends on board we said hello and are thinking of them daily. We wish all a safe, healthy, and fun venture! Enjoy and we look forward to your blogs.
Catching up Hi Kevin and Susan...so wonderful to hear from you. I'm sorry we missed you on your trek this summer. We are in South Carolina. Have a fabulous cruise...it looks a,azing. We just returned from a regent cruise...Dubai to Capetown. It was great the Indian ocean is so beautiful. Happy sailing...smooth seas...happy new year!
Hong Kong Looks like you had a great end to your trip. We were a little disappointed the last time we were in HK because it had lost some of the old charm. We had stayed at the Penninsula the first time we were there and now it is kind of lost in all the high rise buildings. But still a fun place, especially the light show at night.
BLOG! Hey Susan & Kevin! Very interesting! Sounds like a great trip! We know that was very special having an old friend be you tour guide. You were very lucky! We so enjoy reading what you write & seeing your pics. Any Mah? Love,Mary Ann & Bobby
I love your blogs-and wondering how you like Silver Seas??? Mary Courim and I are on Mariner, Venice-Miami-Sept 23-nov 3-any chance you might be on board?? I miss cruising with you both--Betty
The Mid Pacific You guys look like you are having a great time. I spent a lot of time in the 70's in Micronesia and Melanesia when I was with IBM. Most of the time was in Guam and Saipan but would take the Island hopping flight from Honolulu to Guam via all the other Island nations. Not much business in the small Islands as you can imagine but a lot of fun.
Jones Suite Enjoying your blog. Did they take you to the famous Jones Suite in the Manila Hotel? We lived there for 1.5 years in 1984/85. It's a great place with super people!
Take care and Regards, Greg and Susan Jones
Fascinating Great pictures as well as narrative. You guys are really off the beaten path. I guess only small ships make stops like these two.
We had breakfast with John Dobrosky last week while we were in Hawaii for family stuff. He is doing well and looking forward to his next cruise.
PICTURES AND E-MAIL LOVED SEEING THE PICTURES AND FINALLY SEEING SUZANNE'S BARGAIN. CAN YOU FOLKS SEND ME YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS

FASCINATING You two are just a walking History lesson. I cannot believe how brave you are. I think I would have been scared at some of these rather primitive locations, and yet you make it seem rather exotic and definitely educational. Thank you once again for the photos and the insight into a part of the world I doubt I will ever venture to and yet fascinates me.
