A massive wind blew in here yesterday and you could tell there was something strange going on. Then the sky opened and it bucketed down. It even hailed, though I'm sure it wasn't nearly cold enough, it's summer here! It was funny out walking after the rains as it took ages for the water to subside. Some people were piggybacking each other through the water! I took off my shoes as I have better balance with my feet. Most people were horrified that I was walking bare foot with my shoes in my hand! They are OK about spitting on the [View Full Entry]

Cutting up the old water tanks and rolling in the new ones, enjoying time with parents, entertaining backpackers, tying up loose ends with schools, giving away all the worldly belonging we have no need for and would rather friends make good use of than to have the things go moldy [View Full Entry]

We packed up the house and said goodbye to all of our friends there. I will miss every one of them HEAPS. On our drive from Kuranda we visited lots of friends and relatives. I visited my Nana and it was my Uncle Anthony's birthday. We saw Edward Scissorhands at the Sydney Opera House. There was no talking, it was just a mime. They had lots of bright costumes and Scissors for Edward. I liked the music they played and the snow at the end. After that we saw my Uncle Craig. It rained from Townsville to Canberra! We are near [View Full Entry]
