Ja, dit zou best wel eens de laatste keer kunnen zijn dat ik wat schrijf op de travelblog in Oeganda...De allerlaatste week is begonnen. Volgende week maandag gaat mijn vliegtuig. Ja, de laatste weken van mijn stage wordt het echt nog even heel erg druk! Het is net zoals het op school altijd gaat...Op het begin van een semester is het altijd rustig, maar als het einde nadert stijgt de druk, soms tot ongekende hoogten. Even een kort berichtje om jullie te laten weten dat alles goed gaat. Nederland zal wel aardig oranje gekleurd zijn nu! Ik heb de eerste wedstrijd kunnen zien tegen Italie, was echt goed! Ik heb inmiddels ook gezien dat we van Frankrijk gewonnen hebben, 4-1! Het is echt niet normaal meer hoe ze spelen! Ik heb er nu net een week opzitten hier op het herbebossingsproject in Kibale nationaal park. Het werkkamp waar ik verblijf heet Mainaro, en is in het Kamwengye district. Mijn werk is eigenlijk gewoon kantoorwerk helaas...maargoed het is best leuk om te doen. Kort gezegd gaat het erom dat ik alle mogelijke informatie en documentatie van het project over sociale, ecologische en klimaat zaken samenvoeg tot een document. I didn't expect to have the change to write here so soon after my last writings, but since I have the change... Saturday I met the director of FACE foundation and the director of Climate Care, both from Holland, in Kampala. The place where we met was the Speke Hotel, in one of the richest parts of town. Is is an incredible wealthy place. A small bottle of water is there 2000 USH, while the normal price anywhere else is 500 USH. But they paid for me so it was no problem to me! I hope you all are fine! I read that the weather in the Netherlands is very good last weeks. That's good to know, cause it means probably that you're somehow having a good time. At the moment I'm back in Kampala. But that is however only for one night. Saturday the 3rd of May! Two days from now on... On Thursday Joeri, Julius and I went back from Kiwangala. Joeri was really ardent to spend a few days in Kiwangala. Kiwangala is his place and I also enjoyed it to be together with Mike, Frank,... and all the children. At first when we came to Uganda I was a little bit careful, touching and playing with the children, because a lot of them have skin injurence and other deceases you could easily see.
