So it's been a VERY long time since I have updated my travel blog - didn't get a chance much last year on the road but trying to make an effort this year!! In between I also went to Greece & the Islands & have some amazing photos I will eventually post on blog - but for now... I,m walking like the Egyptians! So clearly as i,m writing this I am safe & I am well!! Hi to all, Long time no speak!! It has been an absolute whirlwind of a year & i,m loving it - hard work staying to pay off... ups and downs - emotional rollercoaster! Having a blast though... and when I say whirlwind, literally has been, this trip we have had, rain, sun, whirlwinds - was absolutley drenched (BUCKETED) in Dubrovnik & Venice, Austria perfect weather & sailing was fanstastic, a chance to relax for a few days! I,m in Prague right now, just had 2 days in Austria and was nice & relaxing, y'day was a big day, long drive and we went to a concentration camp and I was still doing a walking tour at 10pm last night for here, went to a cocktail bar, cities are mad here at the moment bcoz the football ... read more

Hidy Ho Friends, How is everyone? Yes, it's me, made it through 6 wks of torture & i,m still alive. It has been one of the best/worst experiences of my life. Rules: No sexual relations, no ipods/cameras, no sleeping on the bus - on average have probably had about 4 hrs sleep a night - pulled a couple of all nighters & then got very sick, still recovering. To top it all off my widom tooth has been coming up. But alas, have also met some very awesome people - supportive friends for life (little family) & survived my training trip! We had crazy, spanish, itlalian, lithuanian, slovakian, english, dutch, french, oz & canadian aboard so a good mix of culture. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. We had a nice xmas with my family here and had some friends over from London for Hogmanay Festival here in Edinburgh for NYE. Probably the most sober NYE I have had in many years!! Yes - believe it!! The rain, snow & wind held off enough for Hogmanay to go ahead which was good. It had to be done but not something I would do every year. We had a nice Mexican dinner, headed through the festival and watched the fireworks ( which were slightly disappointing, no way near as good as the Royal Bank of Scotland sponsored ones they had on a while ago, which were the best I,ve ever seen), but anyhoo, after the fireworks and getting through the street ... read more

Well it's been a while since my last update. just back from spending 4 days in Prague. It is a truly beautiful city and I could easily spend some more time there. So many little streets to get lost on and so many bars and cafes to test! It was nice not to do a tour and to have 4 days in a 4 star hotel & we even had our own private mercedes, the most luxurious of our time away. Prague is quite cheap compared to everywhere else we have been so we did alot of drinkng and eating and drinking and eating. We met our kiwi friends there on Thursday. Well it’s been a while since my last update, thankgod you say, last one was a big one. I,m feeling really well and it actually feels like home here, must have well and truly settled now - just minus all my family and friends %-/ So what has happened since then? Well a lot of it was that long ago I can’t really remember, how time fly’s when your having fun!! The time is absolutely flying by at the moment, I feel like I haven’t really stopped and I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend, maybe it’s just that our partying at Oktoberfest has taken me this long to recover!!
