Hey All! Our time in Nicaragua is coming to an end, we´re in the old colonial town of Granada where we will spend our last few days before going north to Honduras! Nicaragua has been fantastic though...the land is stunning with rolling green hills and douzens of huge volcanos. Its really cheap here too which we like! After leaving the Corn islands we went to the town of Leon...it was a nice town with a lot of interesting history of the revolution but we didn´t feel too well during our days here so didn´t get up to much. We did go and visit some hot springs though just out side of the town at the foot of a volcano....a few of the local kids became our guides for the morning and took us to the springs ... read more

Hey Everyone!! O.K so since i last blogged we spent another day or two in Monetzuma where we went hiking through Cabo Blanco national park, the hike should have taken an hour and a half down to the beach and apparently it´s impossible to get lost BUT Al managed to take a wrong turn somewhere and what should have taken us just over an hour took over 3 hours!!! We spent a couple of days in Costa Rica´s capital San Jose where we went up a volcano and swam in hot springs and then flew up to Nicaragua. After landing in Managua we jumped straight on a plane out the Corn Islands which are two tiny islands about 50 miles off the coast in the caribbean. It´s paradise here..only a few hundred people live on the ... read more

We've had an amazing last couple of days....we took a boat across from Jaco to Montezuma which is a wikid little town; its tiny...the main street is only about 50 meters and just a beach with a few restaurants and bars (what else do you need though?!) On tuesday we went on a horse riding trip which was amazing!! we jumped on our horses on the beach and rode along the beaches and into the jungle for about an hour and a half, also got to gallop across one of the beaches which was incredible! after the couple of mile trek we tied up the horses in the shade and went for a swim in a small rock pool under a waterfall (as if it wasn't perfect enough already!) After a refreshing swim and some fresh ... read more

Hola Chicos After a grewling day of travelling via boat, a bus, another bus and another bus we have finally reach Costa Rica! It is stunning here! We drove on buses for about 9hours on tuesdays and the scenery was incredible! the drive was a little scary with huge cliff edges with no barriers and a slightly insane bus driver going much faster than he sould be! But we got here in once piece and are current staying in Quespos which is on the central pacific coast. We went to the national park in Manuel Antonio today which was beautiful, we were welcomed by 3 monkeys (one with a baby on its back) and then two sloths!!! we heard it was quite rare to see them and suddenly there was two right in front of us! ... read more

Hey everyone! Still on the caribbean islands off panama, we're addicted to this place and cant seem to leave! It may be due to the fact you can get a round of drinks here for $3!!!! We even have a little family of lizards in our hotel room now that come see us every night! Yesturday we went on a crazy adventure into a cave with bats a crocodiles!! we heard rumours about this cave that was discovered on isla bastimentos recently; non of the trip companies will take you there (too dangerous maybe) but we got chatting to this cool Rasta named Lucito who said he'd take us. he assured us it was safe but if its so safe then why does no one go there?! SO we jumped in his boat and he took ... read more

Good news....got my bag back!!!! after endless phone calls and sleepless nights i had it delivered to me on friday! We left the hussle and bussle of panama city on saturday and jumped on a tiny plane to Bocas Del Toro....a series of carribean islands off Panamas coast. Its gorgeous here, loads of palm trees, white sandy beaches, crystal water and lots and lots of rum! Staying in a cool hostal called Aqua thats built over the water with swings and water trampolines and lots of hamocks. They have some pretty heavy parties there where girls drink for FREE from 9 till 12 so naturally i took good advantage of that! Spending a day on a boat tomorrow to go snorkalling and see the dolphins and giant turtails....cant wait!...again will try upload some pics at some ... read more
