Thanks for sharing, Jo
I am actually in the middle of reading your blogs, Jo. This is an interesting story about the colonel, and about baseball in Japan. I am also so impressed with your Japanese writing, as well as your photography and good composition.

Thanks for the comments guys :-) Seeing a baseball game live in Japan was on the long 'to-do' list. Fortunately one that didn't get missed out on! The atmosphere is amazing.

The curse of Schipol
In years of travel I've only lost bags twice and one of them was in Schipol. Its a horrible feeling, but the consequences can be quite funny after the event ... as long as your bags turn up eventually. In my case, things got worse before they got better - due to a booking mix-up I have to share a broom cupboard in a hotel with my boss. The whole town was completely booked up with a major conference ... heheh, he made me promise never to tell anyone ... ooops!

Beautiful photos! You're a very gifted photographer. I really want to check out Tottori now. ^_^ Thanks for the comment before.

Enjoyed
I very much enjoyed your blog and especially the photos posted. I am a definite beach-loving person. Last year we rented a dune buggy and hit the dunes in the upper peninsular of Michigan. What a great time my husband and I had on that adventure. Hope all your travels are exciting (or relaxing if that is what you are seeking) and safe.
