Travel Blog Posts

We're back from our trip to Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai. It was fun but exhausting. I had brought a luggage for my and Ikee's things. I've written my stories at my Tabi Tabi Po blog which you can find at http://www.pinas-et-al.blogspot.com. I may have been penalized by blogger for copying my own content in this blog to that blog. Anyway, it's all there. I'll just post the pics here for you to see. Do visit my blogs. I have another one at http://janecajuguiran.blogspot.com. By the way, in case you're interested to post in any of the blogs I've mentioned, feel free to email me your story. I'd be glad to publish them. Thanks. ... read more

How do you picture paradise? We had a taste of it this year when we went to one of Davao's most beautiful resorts - the Pearl Farm. I had first learned about this place several years ago. After just a day of rest, we were off to Tagaytay once more this time to celebrate Nanay's birthday. We had seen the Caleruega Church and learned of its campsite 3 days prior to this trip and had planned to go back to camp there. We oh so love the place - lots of trees, cool weather, nice grass covered lawn, the sound of creatures all around - perfect for staying overnight. We asked nanay and carlo, ikee's cousin, to come with us. Ikee and Boyet did the reservation the day before while I was enrolling for the 1st sem. Lunch was at View site Restaurant. We had filipino food - bulalo, steamed pla-pla, adobong kangkong, and ensaladang talong. The rest of the day was basically the same as what we had done during Ikee's birthday. ... read more

Being a teacher, I still get to think of how students can benefit from writing about their travels. As I am now a member of this site, I thought that this could be a great way to allow students to explore the world of media in their most convenient way, hone their english language writing and reading skills, and even get to have a learning experience in social studies and geography from the discoveries they make out of exploring other places that other bloggers have been to. These are just some of the benefits that can be achieved through writing about the places they've been to. I've been to at least 6 schools for my education (3 universities and 3 colleges) and I can sincerely say that in all those learning years I have always forgotten ... read more
