Gave up our jobs to live the dream :) In 20 years time the only things that you will regret are the things that you DIDN'T do!

So we're travelling for 3 months to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Cameron Highlands, Langkawi Island) HOPEFULLY Borneo and Sarawak, dont know which parts though! Thailand (Ko Tarutao, Ko Kradan, Rai Leh... some other islands in the south not sure which ones yet!!!, Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Pai) and Cambodia (Phnom Penh and Siam Reap for the famous Angkor Wat!)

If any other travellers reading this have any suggestions of places to go, good places to stay etc... especially which southern thailand islands etc are good at the moment then please advise :) want to get off the beaten track a bit! Also good guesthouses etc in Cambodia. I've done Malaysia and Thailand before but Cambodia and Borneo is all new to me! (Holly)

Flew back from Phnom Penh in Cambodia via Bangkok then up to CHIANG MAI! AKA The Gold City. Flew in a thunderstorm cue again Holly screaming to get off the plane. (one day we'll have a normal flight!). Hey again everyone! Haven't updated for yonks sorry... Have been on the move constantly. Well we left our beautiful hotel in Ko Lanta after 4 nights of bumming around and lots of food and got a ferry over to the island of Ko Phi Phi. Most of you will know of Ko Phi Phi because this is where the 2004 Tsunami wreaked most havoc. As you will see by the photos the shape of the island was mostly to blame. It feels like about 3 years ago since we were in Langkawi because we've been on a mad one travelling our hearts out! We were really sad to leave Ko Lipe because again we spent nearly 10 nights there and got to know alot of the local people. We got to quite enjoy the nightly euphoric candlelit rave dinners and the ladyboys who all fancied Nick haha. Lipe is so beautiful and unspoilt by over-development. We said an emotional goodbye to our awesome Langkawi friends. We have had an incredible time on this island and we both have a real gut feeling that we are gonna go back at some point. My favourite place ever :) I came here 4 years ago, Nick has never been but he loved it the second he arrived. I have noticed that its changed quite a bit since I was last here. After Melaka we went up to the Cameron Highlands.
