We spent all day Wednesday aimlessly walking around Kowloon, part of Hong Kong. The mall the shuttle bus dropped us off at had over 500 stores, but the total number of retail stores in Hong Kong is over 50,000! Between the buildings are maze-like alleys of street shops. Every way you turn, there are endless shops. I overheard someone describing what it was like and they said, “It’s like New York City and Las Vegas many times over all in one place.” A salesman in a jewelry store recommended a local restaurant for lunch for Cantonese Chinese food, which was delicious. When we came down the stairs from the restaurant, they had various tanks of various live sea animals: prawns, crabs, big fish, and some mystery fish. If anyone knows what this is in the picture,
