Hello Everyone! We would like to tell you how busy we have been and have been unable to blog but it's just not true! We are truly in holiday mode right now. Lazy mornings, lazy afternoons and lazy evenings punctuated by meals in between! Not that bad actually, but we are living the beach life right now. We are currently in Railay, which is in the south of Thailand near Krabi and home to the most amazing beaches and ocean views. Weather has been hot hot hot!!!! Hi gang, Greg and I have found paradise after all. We had to be patient through 3 days of downpour, but the sun finally broke through. We' ve moved from Chumpon, on the mainland, to the small Island of Koh Toa. We spent our first two nights at the Coral View Resort, which can only be reached by a 20 minute harrowing truck ride up a steep washed out road that looks suspicously like a creek bed. OK Here are the first batch of photo's!!! I think we are going to the Island of Koh Toa tomorrow. Yesterday we went to the ocean and did some swimming . The water was so warm it was almost hot!! The highlight of the trip!! We were at Hat Thong Wua Leans, which was really creepy actually. Kind of an empty, depressing town, ready for tourists, of which we were the only ones! Hello All, Here we are a couple days in and it's been fun. 20 hours on the plane and finally landed in Bangkok. Bangkok was cool, got in around 12:30 am and then headed out to a bar. Ended up ordering a couple beers and some curry at some outdoor bar in the middle of some festival. I Soon discovered that it wasn't my pasty white skin the boys we noticing but that we were at a gay bar in the middle of gay pride week! Sweet. Those boys make a mean Curry! Welcome, this will not be very interesting since I am just sitting at work on lunch, but it will hopefully be better once Shannon and I leave. We are leaving for Thailand on Nov 2 and get there at 10:50 pm (Bangkok time) on Saturday November 3rd. I think Thailand time is 13 hours ahead of us. We are staying at a Hostel in downtown Bangkok our first night and that is the only plan we have until Dec 31st! [View Full Entry]
