We only have a few days left! I'm so sad. We have an overnight flight back on Thursday the 11th. We all agree that it'll be nice to be back in a country where we can understand everything that is being said to us though. And we're looking forward to free drink refills, instead of this glass bottle crap. Day 16: Our second day at Iguazu. In the morning Greg and I went on a long hike while Nick scouted out some Blink-182 tickets (and was successful). On our hike we ran into a monkey researcher at Iguazu who was staring into the trees. She showed us two monkeys, an adult and a baby!!! It was soooo cute. She told us to look out for toucans and for a small waterfall that was at the end ... read more

Day 11; can{t find the colon or the apostrophe so i{m just going to use thee}¿¿}}se. shoot. now i can{t find the backspace. anyway; Day 11; last day in punta del diablo. decided to take one last beach day, relaxing never gets old. so, we rented two surf boards and a boogie board. the surf was rough today so it was pretty exhausting just getting out far enough to catch the waves. in the evening, we hopped on a bus for Cabo Polonia. Cabo is a national ecological reserve in uruguay. no cars, electricity, or running water. we had to take a giant death mobile into the park, it was wicked fun. we rode on the roof of this thing as it drove through dunes and forests in the pitch black of night. eventually, it popped ... read more

Day 6: Colonia, Uruguay. Nick and melissa brought me breakfast in bed, which was nice. Nick went for a run on the beach in the morning. Then, we all headed off to the coast. Fresh churros for lunch, Greg´s choice. Nick made a friend in Diego, the stray dog we found. Diego was a fan of cliff bars, especially the sandy variety. We had dinner at a local restaurant, then went to a casino for awhile. Both Nick and Greg walked in with 4 dollars to spend, walked out with a combined 12 dollars. We used the winnings for bday gelato. Day 7: Headed from Colonia to Montevideo. Montevideo blows. After three hours, we moved on to Piriapolis, a small beach town. It was dark when we got there. We tried to stay in the second ... read more

First let me note it´s my bday tomo and nick and melissa are throwing me a surprise party. they don´t think i know. jk, we´re just chillin on the beach i think. This is nick - tomorrow for greg´s birthday i was planning to surprise him and take him to the beach. damn. i dont know how he found out. ok, from where we left off. melissa and i took a quick tango lesson, i´m thinking about going pro. you´re not supposed to use your hips or your shoulders, melissa really struggled with this. i on the other hand, struggled with everything. after the lesson, we went to hear live tango music. the instructor lead us down the street to a hidden door and into a small theatre. definitely one of those places you could only ... read more

Heyyy everyone, It´s day 3.5 of our trip and we´re blogging for the first time. Oops. Here´s a synopsis of our adventures so far: Day 0.5: (Monday) We were supposed to take an overnight flight to Buenos Aires on Sunday night but we decided to take the next flight out on Monday night for 600 Delta dollars. We spent the day chillin in Atlanta. We got to hang out with Nick´s friend Kelly from school - she was super nice and cute. We took a tour of the CNN studio which was awesommmme and wandered around the Olympic park. Day 1: Super tired. A taxi took us to our hostel and we wanted to sleep but we had to exchange our money into Argentine pesos. We had a bit of a panic because NOBODY would take ... read more
