Mel the illegal immigrant! Mel - that last post was SO funny! haha. My mouth literally dropped when you recounted your scary encounter with customs! My goodness - good to hear you all came out of it okay...but that seriously is a great story to have in your arsenal! Ahh I cannot wait to see pictures - everything sounds beautiful. Enjoy the coming days :) - Jackie
I'm beginning to think the only reason you went there was to eat! Sounds like you're having a great time and I'm very jealous. Anxious to see all the pictures. Have a great time and stay safe. Mel - watch out for those killer dogs!
The death machines? Glad we heard about those after the fact........ so, you took the bus to Iquazu so you could fly to?????? We watched a DVD about the falls, breathtaking!!! can't wait to see your pictures. Love, Karen -mom
Absolutely hilarious Hey Melissa,
This sounds awesome. I was laughing pretty hard as I was reading through this entry. I think that you guys should consider writing a travel guide because you would have plenty to share. How was the gnocchi? Reminiscent of the stuff we had a Bucca di Pepo? (Not sure if that is how you spell it). Well, I'm off to read your next journal entry. Kudos to you guys for keeping us updated on this end. Safe travels!
Fun! You guys sound like you are having way too much fun...I want to be there too! Happy Birthday, Greg...glad you liked your Lizzie card. Nick, I didn't hear any bragging about your spanish abilities this time! Love, One of the Mom's
Melissa, i feel for you about the dogs. But way to scream when you see one! You should have seen what abbey was doing today! And i need about a million pictures of these churros and and helados! They always taught us that helado was the same as ice cream in spanish class, what a bunch of liars. And happy birthday greg!
Happy happy birthday Greg! We're celebrating your birthday with a new bike ride today. We'll be thinking of y'all on the beach, hope it's a sunny, warm windsurfing day.
Traveling vicariously Karen gave me your blog address so I'm looking forward to following your adventures! Like Karen, I am wondering why they wouldn't take your money. Are dollars that worthless? Buena ventura! (I thought I'd say that since it is the official name of our city..... and of course, also to wish you good luck and a safe journey.)
We're three college kids backpacking through Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. We hope to keep our families and friends updated through our blog!... full info
