Day 3: Our alarm was set for 8AM however Becca slept through it, i'm just glad it wasnt me, we were lucky as our bus came back for us. After a two hour journey from Bangkok we rrived at 'Sams Guesthouse', it was a bit of a slum floating on a river but we knew we could handle it. After settling into our room we visited the Bridge over the River Kwai, it was pretty cool, we then had an early night. Day 4: We were picked up at 8AM and headed to the Erawan Waterfalls. Bangkok- 16th February The morning was eventful, at about 4am Becca and I had our first arguement of the trip but it was settled immediately. The stuffy and polluted air just hit our lungs, I wasnt expecting that much of a drastic change! The first person we met outside of the airport stopped us on the street and asked us where we were heading and warned us not to go into Central Bangkok because of the bombs the night previous. Not a very delightful greeting for us considering we just arrived, we were so scared! Anyway, after getting persuaded to pay over 165 quid on trips we finally got to our hostel "Nap park' where we met Lucy, Lena and Meg. Pretty sure the whole of the hostel heard our screams of excitement when ... read more
