Hello everyone Well I can honestly say that when you go away on holiday you need to pay penance by returning with a cold/flu, both Ged and I have been coughing and sniffiling for a couple of weeks now and still no break, but hopefully with some warmer weather it will pass. Great to be home, still jet-lagged slightly, so much so after my first day back at work yesterday I got home and went straight to bed and didn't get up again until this morning!! Ged has started back to work today, hopefully he isn't doing the same tonight. Now that I've got a computer to use I will try over the next few days to start uploading some photos, probably in batches, so we will see how we go. Will try not to bore ... read more

Hello Well the time has finally come to say goodbye to good ole England and London but we have made the most of our final day here today. After having a much needed sleep in we headed to breakfast to fill up on the British favorites, bacon, sausage and eggs......yum......more lard!!! Would you believe after all of our rainy days in the UK the last one was absolutely beautiful with not a cloud in the sky, everyone walking around in summer clothes and making the most of the sunshine. We made our way to St James park and then onto Buckingham palace to take some photos then back through to Westminster and Big Ben. For some reason this didn't get published, so doing now!! Bonjour Another country, another language, another stamp in the passport and what a great day we had in Paris although we are absolutely exhausted. The day started about a bit stressful as we were supposed to get picked up at our hotel at 5.30 (yes an early wake up) but by 5.50 no one had turned up so we had to make our way by taxi turning up just in time to catch the Eurostar from St Pancreas. It was a fully organised trip which we are not usually a fan of but as it was just for the day!
