For some reason this didn't get published, so doing now!!

Bonjour

Another country, another language, another stamp in the passport and what a great day we had in Paris although we are absolutely exhausted.

The day started about a bit stressful as we were supposed to get picked up at our hotel at 5.30 (yes an early wake up) but by 5.50 no one had turned up so we had to make our way by taxi turning up just in time to catch the Eurostar from St Pancreas.

It was a fully organised trip which we are not usually a fan of but as it was just for the day! We had a bus tour around the city, a cruise down the river Seine then champagne lunch up the Eiffel tower, oh my God unbelievable!

Seeing the Eiffel Tower in real life was truly amazing and just huge close up dominating the landscape. We have some great photos to shareware with you when we get back.

The afternoon we had a guided tour around The Louvre, another big 'wow' I had never seen such fantastic art and of course the Mona Lisa, what can I say, magnificent.

So it has been a pretty big day and Ged & I are looking forward to flying back home leaving tomorrow night getting into Canberra Saturday morning.

But we still have 1 day left in London before heading to Heathrow so it's a visit to the big palace in the morning after having our last English breakfast, then lunch in a British pub around the corner, fish and chips with a few pints, gotta finish off with a bang!!

So it's Aurevoir for tonight and maybe another quick blog tomorrow before we head home.

Lots of love

Ged & Michelle xx
