We arrived In Sighetu some time in the evening, the scenery of the mountains from the train ride getting there was the best ive seen.. once we arrived in Sighetu we followed some directions to this hostel that was suppose to be in the area... eventually we found where it was suppose to be but it hadnt even finshed bein built.. so we wondered into the town center and found a hotel which worked out to about 10 euros each a night.. by the time we checked in and put ou bags down we went out to find some food but [View Full Entry]

After we arrived in Clug and found the hostel we went and had a bit of a look around then bought some beers and went back to the hostel.. that night we went to a beer festival where there was lots of cheap beer and drunk people around so we fitted in perfectly. we met some locals while standen in line waitin for some food then went to a bar and continued drinkin with them for quite a while.. then after a while we left and some how got back to the hostel..by taxi if i remember correctly the next day [View Full Entry]

When we got to Sighisoara there was a worker from one of the hostels waitin there he showed his hostel and for 7 euros we decided to stay there.. Sighisoara is a nice small town but you can see everythin in 2 or so hours because its not a very big place.. after walkin arond lookin at the sights and havin a few beers we went to the train station and waited for Joe and Tony who left Brasov after us they went and had a quick look around while me and kym kept drinkin after about an hour theyd seen [View Full Entry]

We arrived in Brasov priddy drunk... high fivein beggers chattin to random locals, we were approached by some guy that worked for one of the hostels.. he took us to the hostel.. where we put down our stuff and went to go find somewhere to get some food then the rain started to come down priddy hard and we got saturated my passport got drenched after walkin round soakin wet we coulnt find anythin so we went back to the hostel got changed and ordered pizza after havin a few more drinks we went to sleep.. the next day checked out [View Full Entry]

After 24 hours on the train i got to Bucharest. spent 7 days in Bucharest i actually only left the hostel to see the sights 2 times the rest of the time was just spent drinkin and relaxin at the hostel..Bucharest itself is not the best place ive been to its just another city.. there are some cool things to see there and the people are nice. the Palace of parliament which is the 2nd biggest building in the world is priddy impressive.. the nut that was in power made over 70,000 people homless to build it.. there are also some [View Full Entry]

The Turkish/ Bulgaria Border Crossing was the biggest load of crap .. the bus spent more time at the border then actually drivin.. all this because the bus after the usual passport checks and othr stuff which took long enough anyway the bus would go into a que to get the luggage searched so after waitin in that que for about 2 hours it was time for our bus to get everyones luggage searched so everyone got out put there bags on the thing to be searched then once everyone done that they just told us to get back on the [View Full Entry]

Once the bus go to Plovdiv i went lookin for the hostel... it took me quite a while to actually find even when i was on the right street people didnt know where the street was.. but eventually i found it. I left Sofia for a few days to wait until i could get my Visa for romania and went to Veliko Tarnovo.. when i arrived there there was a group of 9 aussies and 1 kiwi.. all had just come from Turkey After anzac day.. soon as i got there iwnet and got some Vodka and juice with Paris and all the guys played a drinkin game. once we were all blind we went out to some bars and clubs then each staggered back to the hostel and some point durin the night. the next day we all went on a [View Full Entry]

Went to Rila monastry for a day trip from Sofia, the drive there was priddy interesting id never seen so many dogs as road kill on the one stretch of road..Rila Monastry was nice but i expected there to be monks wonderin around and not a large amount of tourists there, the surrounding area was nice aswell...after spendin about 2 hours there we went back to Sofia. the hostel had organises a driver to take people there and back for 15euro because apparently its alot easier then catchin the public transport there.. I spent about 10 days in total in Sofia... after arrivin i found the hostel fairly easy, the hostel was prolly one of the best i stayed in which is prolly the reason i managed to stay so long.. there was free all you can eat breakfast and a free pasta and beer each night.., bein there for so long i got to see a bit of the nightlife ended up goin to quite a few different nightclubs and bars.. one bar we went to had a bucks night so we got to see all the craziness bulgarians get up to..
