Hey Everyone, Were writing to you from lovely Oulu where its always raining!!! We arrived on May 22 at 9 pm and it was beautiful out. The sun set at 11:00 pm and we got to watch some of it from the ocean side beach near our cabin. Unfortunately, that was the only sun we have seen in our 5 days here... We finally found the library where we could use the internet, but low and behold, there was some sort of holiday yesterday and everything was closed. Our campsite is awesome and we've been enjoying our time in this small, picturesque town. Tomorrow morning, we leave for Helsinki again where we will spend the remainder of our trip before heading home on Tuesday morning. Hello all you adorable blog readers. Thanks so much for all the comments and updates about our beloved pooches. I knew they were the best but its great to hear it from others! Adam and Elaine, you must have been yelling at each other or dancing to have fooled the girls into thinking that you were us, good work! Thanks so much for the offers for money you silly Eco bitches! I love you guys, but honestly, don't worry about us, were doing ok. So, we spent the last 4 days in Helsinki in a lovely little cabin just outside the city. Finland is everything we'd hoped for and more. The city isn't as impressive as Stockholm or Bergen, but the people here are beyond fabulous! Everyone looks like us! Hi Everybody, We are just about to leave the beautiful city of Stockholm Sweden behind. We spent the night at a hostel dowtown in a cool old building. Everything here is just beautiful. The architecture is just beyond description. Walking through Gamla Stan (the old town) is like stepping back in time. There are bridges everywhere which connect the different islands to each other (the city is spread out over several islands big and small). There are parks everywhere and full of swans, ducks and pigeons of course. We went to the main harbour and saw an awesome reproduction of a dragon prowed long ship. It looked so authentic, you could almost picture a crew of vikings on board. We are nearly broke so we never made it to any museums, but the whole city itself ... read more

It almost slipped our minds since they don't seem to celebrate mothers day here in Sweden! Happy Mother's Day to both of our wonderful, lovely mom's! We wish we could be there to help celebrate and give you loads of hugs and kisses, but you are both in our minds. All our love to the most important women in our lives! Hi Everyone, Lets take a moment of silence for the death of the Ottawa Senators in this years playoffs once again...... Damn you Hasek, Damn you to hell!!! On to happier news, we have arrived in Göteborg Sweden safe and sound last night after spending 10 hours on the train. We left Bergen early on Friday morning and headed to the village of Flåm Norway which was unbeliably beautiful. It is right at the mouth of the Sogenfjord with snow capped mountains all around. We took the Flåm railway down into the valley and it was quite a trip. We passed some amazing waterfalls and steep cliffs that were phenominal. Hello Everybody, Well, the Sens seem to be sucking some serious ass which makes me happy that we haven't had to sit through the disappointment of losing three games to Buffalo.....I guess the Sens really are cursed! We spent our day in Oslo travelling through the touristy area of Karl Johan Street and then took a bus to Bygdøy to visit the open air museum. The museum was fantastic with examples of Norwegian homes from the beginning of written history to the 1800's. The weather was insanely hot and poor Mike ended up with heat stroke which cut our day short. We spent the evening sitting by the lake shore across from our campsite watching the sun sink lower and lower. It was a beaufiful way to end our day in Oslo. Wednesday morning we packed ... read more
