Retirement Looks Grand
You didn’t share your picnic table spread here. It looked amazing. Getting old isn’t great for sure, but I’m glad you’re relaxing and enjoying travel the way I think it should be.

Relaxing
Looks and sounds like the perfect relaxing day. Loved your picnic supper idea, a favorite of mine! Definitely you need to plan for those days to completely relax while traveling for an extended time.

Looks fabulous
The market looks amazing and the meal sounds delicious. What a very long day!

IF People Visit?
I will be visiting you in France. You don’t have to summit the tower again. You can wait for me below if you prefer, but I will be going to the top for sure. I’m sad there were no pictures, and I hope your camera decides to work for the rest of the trip. I wanted to hear about the chocolate mousse.

YUM!
I want to eat that ravioli with a baguette. And green soup seems scary to me, but I’d be willing to risk it for that broccoli cream I think. Have fun.

Retirement!
Very exciting to be close to retirement . . . and living in France for retirement! Almost there but a couple more years to go.

I look forward to your house hunting...
and more delicious French food!

Missing Tarragon
This made me teary eyed! So glad he got to take that last trip with you and Jerry.

Lovely London
Now I really need to visit London. Thanks for sharing all the photos, food recommendations and other travel tips. I hope you have a safe, uneventful trip home. See you in a couple of months in Boston.

What a Bummer
I'm sad to hear that your stomach isn't cooperating on the trip. This has happened to Jeff several times in his travels, too, and he isn't nearly the culinary connoisseur that you are. I hope it gets better for the rest of the trip. I'm also sorry to hear that you couldn't see the two items on your itinerary for the day. But I am glad to learn I'm not the only one who wanders around, unable to find the place I want to go.

Pictures?
What? No picture of the onion loaf? I am trying to imagine what it looks like. Onions baked into bread? This isn't what the description sounded like. I'm looking forward to hearing about your village tours.

Good looking sandwich
That chicken sandwich sounded exceptional. I have always wondered about all of the walking that you do. I typically get about 13,000 steps in a work day, but when we visited you in NYC - I was beat on day 4. I am wondering about this next trip... I enjoy the architecture photos and landscapes of where you visit as well as the food journaling. Hoping Tarragon is settling in.

Making Memories
Being sick on vacation is the worst. I’m sorry it was food poisoning AND that you didn’t have a fantastic 60th birthday. But…it was a memorable trip, right? Thanks for sharing all these photos. I’m excited to hear about the pyramid trip from Jerry when we see Rhode Island this summer.

What a storm
That looks and sounds like terrible driving conditions. Must have taken a long time to drive the distance to Denver. White knuckle driving for sure.

Dish of the Day
What? No picture of the blue corn cornbread that made dish of the day? I was wondering how blue it was. Yes. I'm THAT person.

Amazing class
The menu at the cooking class sounds fabulous. Getting the recipes is a great bonus.

Onion Rings!
Funny you should mention the Ringside onion rings. I just had them as a starter with my birthday dinner there on the 17th. Delicious for sure but these look much wider. Also, I need to hear more about the horseradish caramel sauce. That sounds ah-maze-ing!

Message from old client in Portland
Hi Chris and Jerry, I’m following your Southwest escapades and enjoying it. My question is how do travel with Tarragon? Do you bring a litter box? How does he do on flights and in cars? I have a wonderful cat, Boodles, and would like to travel with him. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Nancy

Pictures?
I wanted a picture of Tarragon on his blanket AND the herd of sheep. Remember, we’re traveling vicariously through you (although I have seen a family of big horns up close in Yellowstone).

On my list
Touring through New Mexico is on my list. Definitely looking forward to reading about the places that you visit. Have a wonderful holiday!
