THank you all very much for your concern and prayers, but everything has healed! I thank some of you for your harsh but wise words in the light of the situation! I do agree that I have to look after No1 first and then I can help others! THis week our team went to a pastoral restort and helped with child care while the parents and others had a YWAM BHopal conference. I think this will be a highlight in the trip to BHopal, looking back on it now I can see how many people I meet and enjoyed the company of! One good thing was I got to be loud!!!, by the end of the week I partly lost my voice, deep husky and sexy!!! i LOVED THE KIDS and they loved me!!! A couple ... read more

hello beautiful ones! this week almost most drove me crazy! Tuesday I got ill with a fever & Cold, in bed alday. Resulting from the cold I got a secondary infection of cellulitis in the leg, so I put myself on amoxicillian...but it still didnt have any effects....so by thursday night I wasnt feeling too good with a badly infected leg and oedema(fluid) in the foot! So I gave into being a doctor(its not for me) and I decided to go to hospital(a catholic one) friday morning. Well the Doctor said I would need to go on IV antibotics and stay in over night if not more! THis week our team has been teaching another training program "Penial" (from the bible) training centre. I feel it went well, I thought on Vital signs, diabetes and something else I forget! As usual!!! So its been worship or intercession in the mornings for half an hour and then onto Penial, for the day finishing at 6-7pm. Tomorrow(friday) were going on a pray walk near a temple! Im really having a struggle with the culture.....and not being appropriate! O'well thats just me I guess! Could you pray that I am conformed to God's standards in a Indian way! hmmm how do you do that in a Hindu community, Bhopal is one of the Hindu strongholds in India. Us guys are staying with Ps Phillip, while Eli is staying at the YWAM Bhopal base with Navin, Sukmati, Maltilda, and Mahima(bub, who is so scared of me, its been a week now and still I can make her cry, its a gift!!!) This week havent really done much as Ben(leader) scoped the scene to see what we can do! Monday, Leprosy, Tuesday, Slum, Wednesday is a study day, which I dont need as I have finished most of the work!!! THursday Primary school for a children check up, medical, and then onto a orphange. well I finished my last eggjam, pretty easy, but we as a base and me personally have had a interesting week! Alot of things went down in regards to peoples property, we had a community meeting where I amited I had been critical of the Indian way of doing things, so a real time of humbling. I took my mobile to a guy in town and he said 100% he could remove the barring.....I so shouldnt have believe him now my phone is locked and cant use for anything! You wouldnt have liked to be there when I found out it was locked..... God gimmi more control!!! Its friday and Sunday we leave for Bhopal, Im kinda excited! Well its gone all so fast, weve had our ups and down, good times and bad! But never losing the hope of the eternal prize!!! This week Gnash (elephant god) festival has be in Lonavla...its pretty exciting seeing the fancy colours and paganistic rituals! But as I was explaining to a Indian we have nothing to fear because we have the most high on our side! We went into a tent that had a moving scene of Krishna (we covered ourselves before we went in!) Last week before outreach, Ive got two tests, Im real excited about outreach and the potential we have in CHrist. Our outreach team has 4, Bendang (leader), Eli(Bhutanese girl), Vinod(indian) and myself! THings here in India are wet but Ive kinda got used to that, Ive got used to my clothes not drying so far, Ive even just recently got used to the loud noises while I try to get to sleep, but Im still getting over the idea of people coming into our room at 11pm and turning on the light. God give me grace....cause I boiled at that point! I know what your all thinking that I was physically violent....but no, self control got the better of me!
