| 24th December 2004 anonymous | Wonderful pictures wonderful memories - From: Boulder / Escalante Utah My husband Bill and I did that same hike up Calf Creek two summers ago. We got a wonderful picture of the falls also and have made lots of copies to give friends as gifts. That was one of the highlights of our visit to Escalante. Thank you to all of your group for working on the trail. We might enjoy doing that kind of vacation some day ourselves. We also had a guide who lives in the town of Escalante who helped us go through a fantastic really, really skinny slot canyon. Peekaboo and Spooky were the names of the Slots. My husband had one spot where his backbone and his breastbone were touching the walls at the same time. That was pretty tight since he is not a fat man. Thanks for the memories your blog produced for us. - Nancy and Bill |
