European lessons? Hi guys, We're in the planning stages of a similar journey (also in a 2007 View H). Any advice? Especially the practicalities of insurance, transformers, laundry etc.. We'll probably ship from Halifax to the UK and travel in 2-3 month chunks (with storage in between). Thanks!
A change of scenery is always good. Cold there, warm here in AZ. Sometimes it is the other way around. We are doing fine. Planning a trip for March. Going to Costa Rico in May with the bikers, hikers and skiiers in Pittsburgh. Enjoying the sunshine on the back patio also. Your photos are always interesting. Be safe.
Corrections to information on this blog. Diane Winston, Chairman, Davis Hollow Cabin Committee and Manager with Volunteers of the NCT The Davis Hollow Cabin is NOT the headquarters for the NCT. It is also not functioning as a hostel or a stay-over for hikers. We, the volunteers who manage and care for the Cabin, would like to clarify the misconceptions out there. The cabin is available to stay overnight or day visits after reserving it through the proper procedure.
Reservations begin March 30 each year for the May1 through November 1 season. There is not a Davis Hollow Outdoor Center. It is presently named the Moraine Outdoor Center.
