special way to celebrate. May you have many more travels together.
Hey - great pictures. It brings back wonderful memories with Steve and Susan. We went to Basin who had 1 tree supposedly 2000 years +. I just could not image. It was spectacular. I was shocked at the visable fire damage from 100 years ago!
Keep us posted.

People of Newfoundland Moreen, I just added a comment a few minutes ago but I do not think it posted, maybe because I put only my name. Anyway, lets try this again. You may not have gotten other comments earlier either.
Aren't the people of Newfoundland very unique. When I was there many many many moons ago, they were so friendly and welcoming. They would take anyone into their homes for a stay or bite to eat. I often wonder if the Russian vessels still come in off shore and take away the fishing industry that most count on for a living. You can tell the hard life they lead by their skin and weather worn faces. They are out on the sea from dusk to dawn !!!

They would take anyone in overnight or just for a bite to eat. And the fishing families work so hard from dusk to dawn. Their weatherworn sking and faces show the life they lead also !!!! I often wonder if the huge Russian fish vessels are still coming in off shore and taking away the fishing business that all too many families count on for a living.
