I made it to Kauai a few days ago. Spent much of Thurday settling in. Had to go to the storeroom and get the bike running. Started up with no problems. Took it for a ride to recharge the battery and had breakfast at the Tip Top. Not much changes there. Jackassed all my stuff back and forth to the condo in Poipu. Only a few yards from the beach. Apparantly US Customs doesn't care if you leave America. Flying out of the US turned out to be very easy. Get in your plane and go. No flight plan. no clearance. Thanks to Craig for the headline.Spent the previous night and day in Richmond. Thanks to Sherri and Rick. Great flight down here. Left Richmond at 1630. Arrived in Delray at 2145 local. Beats driving and some beautiful views out the window. My plans are obviously up in the air. Thinking of going to the Bahamas. I have to see if I have my Radio Station License. Never done it before. Made it to Pomeroy, Ohio (outside Athens) to the Fur Peace Guitar Camp. Great Flight to Columbus. 3:05. Beautiful Weather. Went to Spruce Steet Studios in Columbus and met up with Bill Kirchen. Drove down toward pomeroy and stayed overnight in Logan. Nothing much doing there. Reached Fur Peace a little after 10 AM. The orientation and lunch. A few hours of class. Dinner.
