Sonyu Yang left - a soul buddy, a very close person i ever got close with in Beijing ... It has been a while since I last had anything to say. I've had a load of things to do and do... :P Exams finally finished with 360 of my students, even that was an overwhelming experience. Classes ceased and doors were shut - so the school is currently EMPTY. Everyones gone home to their families, but I decided to stay in china and explore. China officially went on holidays from Thursday 28th September till October 7th, 2006. *Beijing to Chengde (Home of Temples) I decided to go to Chengde with a student of mine, Allen. I bright energetic and bubbly kid - full of confidence - who spoke english quite ok. So, we made our merry way to Chengde - 4 hours NW of Beijing. Chengde has minimal if not any tourists - Thankfully I saw none - cause there are thousands in Beijing. For some reason I have a fear of tourists since I got here. Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know, I will be going away from Beijing for the National Week... starting this friday 28th September, 2006. I will be away for about 5 days, i'm thinking. Wow, what an exciting day! Yesterday was quite full on - Happy Valley! Happy Valley is a Theme Park located on the south east end of the city. One of my friends (Mattieu, from Germany Berlin) I met a few weeks ago wanted to go on rides and show me a park he had longed to check out.
