Amnesty International is the largest human rights organization. This group of people work together to protect people where their rights are denied. They both investigate and expose the truth to the citizens. This is all done to change bad societies into a safer and free place. The work is able to be done thanks to the donars rather than the government , who provide money to make it all possible. The college I want to attention is Chamberlain Nursing College. They do not offer any sports or clubs. They are not shown on the website. I believe this is because of the rigorous curriculum. The time crunch of two in a half years rather then four can put pressure on a student and I believe this is why they don't include this is their school, to ensure success and focus among students. 1)Friends: Coming to UICCP I was able to meet multiple amazing people who have helped me grow as an individual. Some people have knocked me down but some of the true friends I met here have stayed by my side through a lot of my struggles. 2)Teachers: Over the years I have had different teachers. Over spring break I was unable to do too much because I was sick. However, I got to spend sometime shopping with my cousin. The day my mom stayed home I got to go to my application session with Chamberlain Nursing College and went prom dress shopping after. I also got to go downtown and to navy pier with my boyfriend. Many children are born every day, some of those children are sexually or physically abused, sick, murdered, or even put into foster care. Hearing stories about parents who hurt their kids on the news everyday just hurts my heart and makes me sad. Poor innocent, helpless children don't deserve these acts. These types of things have led me to strongly believe in abortion. Every child deserves a chance at being loved by someone rather than going through heart ache and being too young to understand anything. One of my best friends had faced many struggles. 1)According to the article modern slavery only looks differnt but truly is not. The slaves of today are still minipulated, starved, and made to work for little or no money by their owners. Today there is a largers variety of individuals who are slaves. These victims are of all ages and ethnicities. Owners do not care or set up limits to making their money. 2)This movement againt human sex trafficking connects to the Legacy of President Lincoln because in both they are trying to do what is right to help these victims.
