So this is really an entry to let everyone know that it's Josh's birthday today!!!! Hurray!! Bring on the cake, presents and the parade I tried to organize in his honour!!!!!!! I should probably mention that it's his evil twin's birthday too. So Happy 14th Birthday Lincon! May you have many more! Oh, Josh; I tried to hire a skywriter but he only spoke swedish and wouldn't make the hop across the pond. Something about running out of feul and drowning or some such trivial thing.... Sorry. So as a general overview of what I've been doing the past couple of weeks I am including this blog entry. (Just as an FYI; I might get confused as to what day it was so forgive me.) Ok, After I left Lena, Patrik and co. I rode the train from Trondhiem to Östersund with Tord, Gerd and Marielle (evidently some relation of mine). We went from the train station to Hammerdal (is that the correct spelling?) and spent the night there. After a hearty breakfast (I've noticed that everyone uses an abundance of butter) we set of to Gäddede. So I've been in Norway for a while now so I thought I'd give everyone an update. I arrived safely on the 17th and I am very comfortable here. Everyone speaks very good english and say yeah/Ja in the same way Mum and Papa do, inhaling while they say it, it's very strange. Anyhoo, Sandra is 11 and Daniel is 9. Daniel is Josh's twin and Sandra is so like me it gets on my nerves... I'm going to see the Harry Potter movie on Wednsday and if anyone has already seen it, I'd like a review. ... read more
So, today we went to Andy's Playhouse. It was like a huge McDonalds playground. There was two vertical slides. It was pretty cool. Yea.... nothing more to report oh! I watched A Good Woman! It was actually intresting... Helen Hunt and Scarlett Johannson were pretty good. ***... read more
Today we went to Tom Tit's. It's like Puzzling World mixed with The Science Center mixed with that science center in N.Z..There was a human gyroscope and a human yo-yo. There was a very small drop zone, a wind tunnel, what looked like an old, cleaned out sewer, a robot arm that swung you around every which way and a bike that went upside down. It was pretty cool. It was in this old factory and had four stories plus stuff outside. After a few hours of hanging there, we went to dinner at an italian/american restuarant. Once again, my lack of knowledge on Swedish made me feel like a moron, especially being with a bunch of people who knew the lingo... After dinner I watched Evita. Ok. So people *cough* Dad *cough* have been annoying about my entries so here I am, blogging. I didn't think anyone would mind on account of you all having lives (I assume). So, today we went to Haggaparken. it's a big park with a butterfly muesum in it. Well, the butterflys are alive but I can't remember the right word for it... Anyway, we went in and boy, was it hot. Tropic. Some of the butterflies were just emerging. Seeing a few do so, I can honestly say; it's not nearly as magical as we are led to believe. It's gross. I said goodbye to everyone and went to the airport with my mom. After checking in, we had a long dinner then went to the gate. We said our fairwells and I boarded a Boeing 757 going to Iceland. I was seated next to a french man with bad teeth and a habit of hogging the armrest. When we took off he put on one of those eye things people wear to block the sun when they sleep and fell into a deep sleep with his mouth hanging open towards me, bad teeth and all. He also snore. If it wasn't for the inflight entertainment, he wouldn't have made it to Iceland alive. After a long flight, I arrived in Iceland.
