Da wir unsere Pläne für unseren Vietnam Aufenthalt schon in Laos geändert hatten, weil wir von vielen Backpackern gehört haben, dass die beste Reisezeit Anfang April ist, ging es von Kambodscha nicht direkt nach Vietnam sondern zurück nach Thailand. Diesmal war unser Ziel nicht der Norden, sondern die Inseln im Süden. Nach einer Busreise vom Süden Kambodschas über die Grenze nach Thailand, war unsere erste Insel Koh Chang. Wir hatten nur einen Tag Aufenthalt, da wir von hier aus direkt nach Koh Tao weiterreisen wollten und konnten deshalb leider nicht so viel von der Insel sehen. So schlenderten wir ein bisschen durch die Straße und am Strand entlang, durchstöberten ein Paar kleine Läden und genossen leckere Fruchtsäfte und mal wieder einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Idag var det klart! Lite sorgligt att det är över, men jag kan nu kalla mig en Open water diver! Dykning dag 3 Jag klev upp 5:30 imorse, lagom trött och sliten. Solen går upp vid halv 7 ungefär, så det vart ordentligt tidigt. Tar en stadig frukost för 25 kr och möter de andra. Vi går igenom det som ska göras under dagen och beger oss ut. Denna gång ska vi längre ut för att dyka på en stenpelare 50 minuter ut i havet. Här blir det inga andra övningar, utan vi dyker för att dyka. Så kallad fun diving. Sikten är klar, vi dyker ner och ser långt framför oss. Jättestora koraller i flera platåer och ännu fler fiskar än tidigare. Vi ser riktigt stora Groupers och regnbågsfärgade parrot fish. Hi Followers, Today we are leaving Koh Tao and heading back to Bangkok. The easiest way (and cheapest way) is for us to get a ferry to Chumphon and then a train to Bangkok. We woke up and headed up to the hostels reception for some breakfast, we forgot to buy supplies to cook ourselves but it was still good and cheap!! We wanted a last swim in the pool before checking out at 1100. Annoyingly the weather was getting loads better the day we were leaving (Typical). Our hostel offered free drop off at the pier which was good and we also had another traveller from our hostel going on the same route as us which is always nice. Hello Followers and all other readers, We had a chilled out morning because our ferry to Koh Tao was not until 1300. We decided to just watch a spooks, head out for a little ride on the ped to get breakfast. (Not a nice day, looked like it rained all night so extra care on the roads) I drove 3 of us into town, Vick was panicking as she thought I couldn’t handle it but it was easy and very safe. We had breakfast in a little café in Thong Sala, it was nice and the food was good and cheap. Mom held it together quite well this time (I think she is getting used to it) and Little Josh looked confused. I actually think he was more upset that Casey was leaving as it was me who used to scare him and make him eat pickled onions after telling him they were grapes hahaha.
