Farewell Philippinnes

Just to keep you all posted. We have a couple more days in the Philis and then we are off to Christchurch, NZ on a 30 hour journey via Hong Kong and Sydney. What a way to spend Easter Day! I guess we will have to indulge in roast NZ lamb when we get there.

The Philippinnes has been a perfect final chapter of our travels in SE Asia. The locals are just so friendly and shocked when we tell them we come from England. 'Ahhh England! So far away' they say. The freshly baked banana bread and mango shakes are awesome as a breakfast treat. And we've been indulging in them everyday.

We have done a little research into Nz and the stunning sights we want to see, but other than that, we're gonna go with the flow.......................

A very Happy Easter to everyone and thanks so much for all the messages. It makes us feel like home is not so far away after all.
