The clinic I visited today was in a slum outside of Mahendrapul.
To my surprise the health conditions of the patients seemed not as bad as some of the Aboriginal people I visited earlier this year!
Again, everyone was really friendly and the children were gorgeous. We played hacky-sac with a piece of rubbish behind the clinic with the roar of tourist planes viewing Mt. Everest overhead.
The camp itself was run by Korean nuns which was a surprise to me. The sad thing was that these people were so poor that they couldn't afford 5 rupees for penicillin tablets ($1AUD = 80 Nep Rupees)
We walked next to meandering cows through the rubbish and smog back into town.
