Kanji Lesson
Even after our skit, we STILL reviewed last Friday's kanji. Guess which one's mine. You probably will get it right. :) Day : Test & Skit Day on No Sleep
Monday, May 11, 2009 4:30am: I’m still studying. It looks like I’m not sleeping tonight. I’m hungry, so I eat toasted bread with peanut butter, 2 cookies, and milk. I really want umeboshi and rice though…
5:00am: I went to sleep.
8:10am: Manami wakes me up asking if it’s alright for me to be sleeping. I was in such a rush! I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and ran out the door! Manami said it was okay for me to skip breakfast, since I was already late. As I ran to the station, my feet were killing me!
During the ride to Yotsuya, I ran through all the stations…and I even pry a train door open. It was embarrassing having all those people stare at me…I guess I appear “strong.”
9:16am: I made it to class! I turned in my homework and Candy walks in breathless. Then the class took our test. It was harder than I had thought. Then, I went out to practice my skit.
10:45am: I believed I was ready for my skit, so I talked to everyone about what a great
Ayumi Hamasaki
I bought the "complete" CD. Daiki gives me the other 3. WOW!! time we had at the club! This is the best class I’ve ever been into! People like me! 😊 They LIKE being with me! YEA! We’re going clubbing again this weekend. I hope my feet heals fast.
11:00am: Class started. We did our skits and I recorded almost all of it. William was really good and I want to know how to get THAT good too! I want to speak Japanese really smoothly! You can view my skit in one of my videos posted. It’s embarrassing…I didn’t realize I was tiny…and I have glasses on! Darn…I’ll dress nicer next time. This is my regular outfit…it’s completely NOT Japanese fashion.
12:30pm: Candy, Frank, Ryan, and I go to a bento place and we ate at the cafeteria. We were really bonding with each other. 😊
2:00pm: We split to do our own thing.
3:30pm: I made it to Zoshiki. I went to the hair salon to pay a lady $5 to cut my bangs. But I will do that MYSELF next time. Then, I went to Book Off to look for a kanji dictionary. But I couldn’t find any and there was no English books…so I ended up buying a Ayumi Hamasaki CD. I wondered if Daiki had Ayumi Hamasaki CD’s… I want Hide to send me Japanese songs too…
4:00pm: I made it to my house. I played with Yuzuki and browsed online. Manami realized that I bought a Ayumi Hamasaki CD when she heard the music from my room.
6:00pm: I play with Yuzuki in my room. I have videos of that.
7:00pm: I carry Yuzuki to dinner. Dinner was really good boneless chicken, lettuce, rice, and mushroom miso soup. Then, I show my host family of the videos I made at school, at the aquarium and the playtime Yuzuki and I had an hour ago. My host parents enjoyed the videos! They didn’t realize that I take everything. I didn’t take “everything” down but I took a lot of it. Daiki gives me his Ayumi Hamasaki CD’s because he says he doesn’t like Japanese music. I was so happy!!!!!!!!! But since I’m not good at expressing myself in Japanese yet…I didn’t quite know how to express my happiness… but I was REALLY HAPPY.
8:00pm: I went to my room to do homework, publish some blogs and write this blog.
Note: Times are approximate. If you want a postcard/letter from me, please send me your address in a private message.
