Bandaids?
Yea...so my host dad puts these salompus-looking bandages on my feet... my feet were swollen from the ladies' heels. Not MY heels...2 ladies smashed my feet with their heels! It's not as BAD as it looks. Day : Continuing Clubbing!
Sunday, May 10, 2009 12:30am: At Vuenos, we each pay $30 to get in. Frank pays for the locker, $3. It’s still pretty empty, so we viewed the area. Frank started dancing. I was surprised because I didn’t know Frank could dance! Yoshihiro and his friend comes along and we introduced our friends. It was great to have Japanese practice.
1:30am: The club was getting packed! Candy and I met 2 people named Hiro and Satoshi. Satoshi confused me because he spoke English, said he was Japanese, and he looked Filipino. I later found out that Satoshi’s father is Filipino and his mother is Japanese. He was born and raised in Japan but lived in Seattle for a month to practice English. I must be confusing too. My mom is Filipino, my dad is Japanese, but I was born and raised in America.
My feet gets smashed by some lady’s heels. I didn’t feel hurt though.
5:00am: Candy, Ryan, and I leave the club. We couldn’t find Frank and we were planning to stay in Shibuya until we found Frank. Ryan was sad that he didn’t dance with a Japanese girl and I felt bad for him. Candy said that Hiro was nice. We find Frank. The security guard was pretty mad at Frank. Frank tells us that he got asked for money from prostitutes, makes it to the VIP room, and later gets kicked out of the club for trying to get back in the VIP. It was hilarious! It was so crowded, so I didn’t see Yoshihiro and his friend, so I texted him that we’re leaving. Tonight was really fun!
5:30am: Candy and Frank buy a hot dog. Then, we headed home.
6:40am: I was walking home from Zoshiki station. It took me awhile because I realized that it was hard for me to walk. I squatted on the floor and then, leaned on the pole when I was waiting for the train. I couldn’t see what was wrong with my feet because of the shoe and black tights. I thought it was because I had high heels…but this never happened before…
7:10am: I made it home. I said good morning to Manami and Yuzuki, washed my face, changed my clothes, and went to sleep.
4:00pm: I woke up. I took a shower and surfed the internet. My feet were killing me!
6:00pm: I slowly went up the stairs to eat dinner, which was this brown rice, meat with peppers, miso soup, and salad. It was good. I showed Manami my feet…they were red. I think they’re bruised. Daiki gets worried and gives me Salompas-looking bandages. He pressed the bandage on my foot, so I yelped, “Ow!” He laughed that I said “ow” instead of “itai.” Daiki gives me the whole packet of bandages and I will do them myself. Manami thought I plan to miss school, but tomorrow is an important day…test and skit. My thumb is also bruised…I have no idea how that happened.
7:00pm: I told my mom, “Happy Mother’s Day” and let Manami talk to her. I talked to Hide for a little bit. And I talked to my mom for an hour.
8:00pm: I hang up. I memorized my skit.
9:00pm: Amy and I practice our skit through Skype. Then, I talked to Jon. I texted some friends on my cell. Then, I did my homework and studied.
