Hi there!

Our last week here we have been exploring Bali. We hired a private driver and he took us all over the island. We haven't stayed in a hotel for more then one night in a week, but it's been great because we really feel like we got to see Bali outside of all the touristy areas.

The pictures that we have posted are some of our favorite pics from Bali! Our diving pics are on a disc and the computer we're using does not have a drive so those pics will have to wait until we get home. ;0)

Tonight Tony takes off for Hong Kong and tomorrow Laurel leaves for India. We have had an amazing time traveling together and are really going to miss eachother. However, we are also excited for our next (individual) journeys and look forward to sharing stories when we meet back at home next month.

Tony will try his very best to keep posting blog entries as Laurel will have little email access from India.

Big Hugs and Love,
Us

This pool over looked Ulu Watu. Barbara and Laurel had a nice day relaxing there while the guys surfed.

In Sanur, the locals collect seaweed out of the ocean which is then sold to companies that make body scrubs out of it.

Rice Terraces

The rice terraces in Bali are so green and alive. They go on for miles... think of this as the birth place for all rice crispy treats.

Great waves, black sand beach, nice people, laid back, no beach vendors - don't tell anyone about this place.

Ketut Liyer from the book Eat Pray Love. We enjoyed our time with him. He read our palms and fortunately, our futures look bright!
