Na ranajkach mini pokec so starsim talianskym parom. Pochadzali od rakuskych hranic tak sa medzi sebou rozpravali nemecky. Aj oni idu na flores ale na motorke. Prakticky idu uz zo sumatri, bez planu, proste idu. Odporucili mi navstivit na sumatre ketambe. Kontrola leteniek z kk na taiwan. Cena aj s poplatok za kartu cca 52€, tak to kupujem na 4.6.18. Dufam, ze nedojde volaky tajfun alebo zemetrasenie. Na taiwane chcem ostat cca mesiac resp podla toho kedy naskoci lacna letenka do sappora. Tym padom mi ale na borneo ostava len neakych 10dni (plus 2 dni brunei) s tym, ze budem spat na letisku v kk. To musim este preverit ako to tam vyzera. Kupa prebehla az na treti pokus. The next morning I ate a bacon and chorizo toast for breakfast ( # NOT LOCAL ) We went to the beach which was excellent for surfing and then went back to the hotel to nap through the afternoon heat. In the evening we went to the beach and some people and kids were flying kites. Then we swam in the sea and ate corn cobs on the street and chicken nuggets. I still thought we were in Europe because they were more tourists than locals and when there is so much tourists it means loads of shops and I hate shopping. The new Kuta airport looks amazing: colorful and bright, airy but not huge, stylishly designed with unique Balinese patterns all around, and that exquisite scent of flowers in the air… We had barely landed but, after 3 months in India, Becky & I were already enjoying the Bali vibe! We'd been on the road (either cycling or backpacking) for 11 months. Becky had promised her boss she'd go back to work in April (2017)… 4 weeks left only! Time had come to take it slow & easy around Bali. We’d rent a car and drive around the island, find quiet beaches, climb a volcano, wander the rice terraces, chase dolphins, & indulge in nasi campur, babi guling & mango juices! Well how to start? We woke up this morning to torrential rain, and the long term, or at least the next week's, forecast is for the same in all the places we planned to go. So outdoor activities we including actually leaving the hotel AT ALL became ridiculous or impossible. Howling winds too, so the speedboat to the Gilis would be very bad for the constitution if it wasn't cancelled. We would both throw up, for sure. So what to do? We have a month and didn't want to get to the end with terrible weather all the time. Need to be back in KL on the 27th for Sam's flight home.
