The moment I stepped down to NJP station it was absolutely clean and sparkling. Some granite and tile flooring work was still going on. As we moved forward the platform to my utter surprise there was an escalator for us to travel down one floor. Our chauffeur Jogesh was a tall sturdy dark looking man. Our car was a grey color Ertiga. Usually Bolero and Sumo cars are available but we wanted a more comfortable SUV car since we were only two people. We had already arranged with one Mr Atanu who organized this car for us on a daily rental with approximately 100 km travel per day. 3 mars: On est toujours au Jaldapara National Park. On se lance dans le safari encore une fois ce matin. La forêt est toujours aussi dense et encore plus humide qu’hier. Il n’y a par contre aucune trace des rhinocéros aujourd’hui. Mais bon, je ne suis pas trop difficile à consoler. Je suis dans la jungle indienne, assis sur un éléphant. Tsé. Alors qu’on est de retour à la lodge du parc national, on apprend que tout est complet pour ce soir. Aucune chambre, ni même de lit de libre. Bon. On devra donc tenter notre chance à l’autre hôtel (il n’y a que deux endroits où les touristes peuvent dormir à Jaldapara). Négatif. Tout est complet là-bas aussi. Bon.
