Ok, first are some more photos from Agra as we spent an extra day by hiring a driver to take us to see the rest of the sights in town!
So on tuesday night, we were able to catch a train (finally) from Agra to Jaipur. This time we were in the air conditioned chair car, and I think that we're finally getting used to the heat, as Alex and I were both cold. Or so I thought...
Jaipur has been, for the last 3 days, 42-43 degrees celsius. According to google, 43 degrees Celsius = 109.4 degrees Fahrenheit. So, it's hot. Really really hot.
Yesterday, Alex and I woke up early to walk around the formerly pink old city. Now, it's kind of pink, but we were expecting a little more. The city here is very beautiful with forts and palaces dating back to the rule of the maharajah. We ate lunch at the top of the OM hotel which rotated, so we got the 360 degree panorama of the town. In the evening, we made it to the "monkey temple" to watch sunset over the whole city. It was a trek to get up the hill

Our driver in Agra, who was a wee lad (200m vertical I think), but worth it. The temple is a temple to the Sun God, and we were met by a priestess who gave us a yellow bindi on the forehead and tons of monkeys. Seriously, i mean it was like monkey local 101. Also, some children tried to show us some cobras in baskets as they ran up behind us, which kind of freaked me out. So here are the pictures as well.
From here we are off to Mount Abu to cool off a bit, and stay in a nicer hotel (WE DESERVE IT!).
Love you all
Rich and Alex

Interesting arch style. Reminds me of Cambodia. I wish I was there. I'm looking for ruby slippers.....
