*** So, hier auch der 2. Eintrag nun öffentlich für alle (siehe unten)!! In der Zwischenzeit haben sich die Pläne schon wieder geändert... wir haben heute entschieden, Indien doch schon bald zu verlassen. Eigentlich wollten wir am 3.4 zurück nach Kolakata, um ein Solarstrom Projekt für Einzelhaushalte mit auszuwerten, das fällt aber nun für uns flach. Zeitgleich haben Sascha und ich beide das Gefühl, dass wir genug Indien hatten. Es ist wirklich ein wunderbares und sehr buntes Land mit vielen vielen netten und hilfreichen Menschen, aber nach unserer Reise durch vor allem touristische Städte sind wir beide einfach fertig... täglich 100 mal Leute loswerden, die einem was verkaufen wollen und einem sagen da wo man hin will ist 7km von hier obwohl es nur 20m sind, die einem tolles Gras zu einem noch tolleren Preis verkaufen ... read more

Up at 3am to fly from Cochin to New Delhi. As always I have left my heart in Kerala.The generosity and warmth of the local people is humbling.The beauty of the women is equalled to the beauty of the waterways, the beaches and the countryside. We flew Indigo, an excellent Indian lowcost airline, to New Delhi and were met at the airport by sweet Sarah and Munbir who drove us to our lodgings in Hans Klaus Village the trendy, arty and expensive new area of the city where they have their office ( The Wild City ). Well after one nights rest I was ready to explore . My breakfast arrived after me asking for it , they seemed suprised so I reminded them that it was included in the price . Breakfast therefore was nothing to write home about or indeed blog about ! It consisted of tea , bread melted gone off butter and jam plus about 20 ants on the tray .Still ate it though ! The boy who bought it to my room just waited in the room watching me eat it with a wry smile on his face, then took the tray away when I was finished , when I asked his boos why he did this , I was told he was waiting for a tip !Maybe I should have tipped the ants ! Well thanks to a nail biting wait , I got my visa for India 2 days before I was due to leave . Bad planning on my behalf ? Maybe but I though 3 weeks was ample time to arrange such a simple thing as a visa , but thanks to the Indian embassy in Berlin it was a total nightmare . It was 4 am in the morning as the taxi came to take me to the train station , my son who said he woiuld miss me like crazy apparantly not enough to get out of bed that early to give me a lift to the station . Hajzli buchotali asi do polnoci.Tak nic moc spanok Rano som hodil kluc aj so zamkom na stol a siel na bus na stanicu Idgah. Zo strechy este na mna pokrikoval jeden z domacich asi mi chcel dohodit svojho riksaka, taktiez rodinu. Ma na nho hned vabili po tom ako som sa ubytoval,si mysleli, ze som blb a pojdem za drahe prachy s nim po meste. Odlov riksakov na ulici nebol vobec lahky,vacsina ani nezjednavala,ponuka za 100,dalsi za 70 a posleny za 60 ale toho som nakonec dal na 50 ,i ked moc nadseny z toho nebol. Veru turisty tu riksakov velmi zhyckali. Na bus stanici kopa starych busov,kopa ludi a iba jedno okienko na listky. Z neho ma poslali opat mimo stanicu na hlavnu cestu odkial siel stary bus do dili.
