Soon after crossing into Western China from the Torugart Pass it got warm fairly quickly, about and hour or so we arrived in Kashgar, it is for me beautiful, long narrow sidestreets lined with poplar trees, the main roads are wide and made of cement, it has a different feel, not quite Oriental/Eastern scene like what I see in magazines. Hey there Gilbert!!! you guys are disgusting!!! Great to see your blog, how I wish i was still there, still at least there is more room for Angus in his tent! Looks fantastic. I went to a wedding on Sunday and it was the coldest May day on record, 7 degrees!!! almost had to get out the base layers again. Today is cold, wet, dull and I am in an office with people who are bored and stressed. yeuch. Much love to you all.
