Defender front
This poor old ugly duckling will be turned into a swan! Ladies and gentlemen behold our vessel, our chariot, our work horse, the car (as yet with no name - until Helen gets a hold of him/her)!!!
Visited the workshop of Liveridge4X4 where our defender is being reconditioned from a LHD Spanish police vehicle to what will be our wonderful 10 seater Bonjour64 defender.
These pictures were taken about 4 days ago and yes it does look a little tatty around the edges, there is no interior if you look under the bonnet there is a very large void where our 200TDI should be!!!! HOWEVER - these guys can perform miracles, since the photos the engine has gone in and it has totted off to the paint shop to be pimped!
It’s apparent to see the quality of the vehicles this company produces as you wonder around their workshop and yard. If Our defender looks half as good as anything being working on or have on the floor awaiting pick up we are going to be very happy indeed!
As land rover virgins, it has been very interesting looking up spec and details on these almost indestructible machines. Not only are they completely versatile (they can be fitted
Defender side
Good ventilation at the moment! and altered to suit almost any need), they actually look pretty cool and if we have to pick people up from airports and ship them into the mountains skiing or hiking I don’t think I would like to do it in any other vehicle!
All very, very exciting!!! Also I received our wheel cover with our company logo on, it’s actually the first real thing we have got that we can touch (apart from the house!) that means we are really heading on our way to starting our business!!! Picture enclosed - looks classy eh!
Well ladies and gentlemen I will include some more pictures soon to show you the progress on the car (which will please those travelling over with us in 3 weeks time!!!!)
Until then happy travelling and be good.

Congrats
Well done ! The Landy is already better looking than most of the cars I've bought in the past 5 years. If you need a decent sized estate for hauling stuff around, my Citroen will be free from this weekend, as I pick up my latest shed on Friday. Love, Veysey.
