This place looks crazy inside In Alice Springs we went to the beanie festival. There were a million beanies. Wow. Wow. I bought one – go the bulldog!. Ash bought one. Mum bought one. And dad didn’t buy one because he said that he already had one.
We stayed at Heavitree gap again. This time it was warm. The next day we went to the Alice Springs market. . We did some busking. That night we camped at Karlu Karlu (or Devils Marbles). We think a dingo stole and ate our camera. The next day we stayed at Mataranka springs. The springs were warm. YAY. We also went to Bitter springs where you can float down the river. Ash and I played Titanic and capsized 22 times.
That night we arrived at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge). We played in the pool. Dad and I played two gigs. We got a free campsite for two nights. The bat’s whooped everywhere and covered the trees. Then we went to the Katherine market where we bought a didgeridoo and also ate yummy paw paw salad.
Then we went to Kakadu National Park (known as Gagadju by the local people). Our first stop was Gunlom Falls. We swam in the

We ate these two cherubin that dad caught in the Roper river. plunge pool under the falls. You had to walk up a track to the other pools above the water fall .
Then we stayed at Cooinda Gagadju Resort and camped on grass – Yeh! We went on a Yellow Water cruise and saw three crocs. One was the massive male named Waters who recently caught and ate a wild pig in front of tourists. We also saw Magpie geese and Jabiru. We played two gigs in the restaurant area..
Then we stayed a Murl camping ground which is where you go if you like mozzies. They ate us alive. We climbed up Ubirr rock and saw a lot of rock art. This is next door to Arnhem land. Then we drove to Darwin!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay tuned for the next exciting episode.

Wish I was in the warmth.
Hi everyone, sounds like your holiday gets more exciting every day. We're on holidays at present but the weather is pretty miserable, lots of indoor games I suspect. At least it has brought good snow. I will share this latest blog when we go back to school. We start the ski program in second week. Off to winter sports carnival at end of July. Tony will be at BOEC and Ms Ranton will be our acting principal. We are still enjoying our new learning space. We had a fantastic Arts evening a couple of weeks ago, great music from younger classes and some very classy printing from 5/6 on display as well as the whole school singing Tony Chestnut, with altered lyrics, as a send off to Tony. Bye for now, Wendy.
