fabulous Hi Jarrah, and the rest of the crew. Thanks for your blogs - they are great! I can see you improving so much. The photos are really great too. Hope Borneo was wonderful. We really miss you guys and can't wait till you're home. Safe travels till then.... xx
Wow!!! Wow guys, you have just been to some of my favourite places.....3 years ago I went to Kalbarri for about a week and we went to Monkey Mia and played with the pelican. We went to the shell beach and the stromatalites and the window and also had a fantastic meal at Finlays Fish BBQ. Ah, good times.... Have a fantastic time in Borneo, we are really enjoying reading reading about your adventures, Love Debby and Damon xxx
Enjoy Borneo. We caught up on your latest blog early this morning then lost the wireless so have read this since arriving home. Have a wonderful time in Borneo. I'd love to visit the orangatans. My daughter Kelly and her boyfriend went to a sanctuary after travelling in a powered canoe some distance up stream. She loved it. She said they were very cheeky and clever at avoiding doing as they were told. ie. they would sneak down a pole and grab bananas from a wheelbarrow and then dash back up a pole and look at everyone as to say, "Can't fool me". They were trying to entice them back within their boundaries with the barrows of bananas. We are all very envious. Say hi to the Aylett family from us. Have a great time. We'll see you all before too much longer. Regards Wendy.
looks great We love reading your blog and it looks like a wonderful trip. Happy, Happy, Happy belated birthday to Michelle-I was thinking of you on the 13th
lots of love from the Campbells
great blog jaz Hey team forrer,
I am enjoying the travelling stories - especially the toilet commentary and grassy campsite notes. Very jealous of all the swimming you are doing - you could almost swim at Falls Creek today in the rain we had! The snow season is good, and the nordic trails have been awesome.
I have taken jemima skiing 5 times now in the "chariot" and she seems to really enjoy it! Daddy daughter day tuesdays are great!
hope this finds you all well.
cheers
JP
Forest Boys Hi Jarrah and Ash
I have been following your travels with interest. You are both very business minded helping mum and dad pay for the holiday by using your music talents.
A metre of snow at Falls with very cold temperatures.
Michelle and Conrad — Some Club news:
Ronice is fired up with junior organisation and is doing a fantastic job. So much energy. Her and Marg Trnka had 22 juniors at BOEC for the two day camp in the school holidays. Junior Birkies and Junior Joey days are well attended.
The Ski Club had huge numbers at the Casserole Dinner (100 people) and 35 last night for the mid-season dinner at Roi's. Bob Flower and Bill Little were presented with Life Memberships. 100 ladies and girls turned out for the Ski de Femme coaching and 70 lined up for the races.
Helen is working flat out on the 21st Hoppet. That's a long time! Yours truly has decided not to work CRT skiing at BOEC this term. Just cruising instead.
Enjoy the remainder of your trip. You have covered plenty of K's. You must be pretty good at putting up that Camper Trailer by now.
Regards
Paul L'H...
Keep on Trucking Conrad, Mish Jarah & Ash,
Looks like things are going really well, enjoy the fine weather.
Happy Birthday for last week I hope that the Indian was nice.
Just got your postcard at work today, it was great to hear from you.
Take care as you continue on your trip.
Roger
Hi Jaz man, Just thought I would let you know that I've enjoyed reading your entries. It looks like you're having a great time and I'm jealous of all that swimming! Chilly here now and rainy (not snowy) at Falls Creek today. I hope you had a great day for your Mum's birthday! (Happy birthday Mish for a couple of days ago). Keep having an awesome time, keep blogging and keep busking! Alice
jarrah-we enjoyed Mataranka too. it must be handy being a musician ! love hearing all your news ;I recently put 2 teacosies in the Stitched Up Festival in Wangaratta.zoe looked shocked when I mentioned knitting such a thing. This is your away-from-home teacher talking re the errant apostrophe-no need for one in bats (plural) Hope you are not offended -and it is still the holidays! jenny and family had a lovely ski day Wednesday. Barb.
hi jazz thanks for the postcard. It is amazing how tasty the bush tucker is in the bush I wish I could try some. I have been doing a bit busking but the mount beauty market is becoming really bad to busk at because I always go busking there. Anyway tomorrow I'm going to a berkinbinder camp up at bogong village. Just recently I went a cross country race in broadford, I came seventh and made to the State Champoinships in Melbourne. Bye Jazz from Marvin
Wish I was in the warmth. Hi everyone, sounds like your holiday gets more exciting every day. We're on holidays at present but the weather is pretty miserable, lots of indoor games I suspect. At least it has brought good snow. I will share this latest blog when we go back to school. We start the ski program in second week. Off to winter sports carnival at end of July. Tony will be at BOEC and Ms Ranton will be our acting principal. We are still enjoying our new learning space. We had a fantastic Arts evening a couple of weeks ago, great music from younger classes and some very classy printing from 5/6 on display as well as the whole school singing Tony Chestnut, with altered lyrics, as a send off to Tony. Bye for now, Wendy.
Hello from Lachie and Uluru Hi jazz. Looks like you are having fun. Thanks for the postcard it was good to hear from you. My birthday was fun. We went to the footy which was good, the Cats won by 3 points. We did lots of fun stuff at the warehouse. I got for my Birthday an Ipod touch, heaps of money and lollies. The people who came to my birthday were Damon, Jack, Will, James, Will Steele and his cousin Luke. Damon spewed up! It is very cold in Kilmore too. I am looking foward to when you come to Kilmore. Bye. From Lachie
Greetings from down south! HI Jazz, Ash Mish and Conrad, Sounds like you are having bags of fun on your trip! It's great to hear about all your adventures. Keep them coming! You're doing well on the busking front - you might be able to pay for the whole trip!! All is well back here. Lachie Lee had a party last weekend and a bunch of the boys went down for it. They also went to the football to watch Hawthorn get humiliated once again by the best team in the league (me, a Cats fan?!) William is doing well. He and Marvin were in the final of "Kiewa Valley's got Talent" a few weeks ago. They did a great job, but it's not the same without you!! Stay well, keep having a fantastic time. love Rose & Will. x
